Multiple uses; good product.
I got 2 of these. Worked very well for sprouting my garden seeds. I also have used one for my sourdough!

Great heat mats
I'm using both of the 48" seedling heat mats I purchased & growing around 60 Fig Cuttings, as well as pepper seeds. Both these mats work Great & even though Amazon says I returned one, which I didn't, as they are both in use, I actually returned a Huge Green Hut Grow tent on Dec 18th & it was delivered on Dec 27th, but Amazon refunded me for a seedling mat a week ago, when they should have sent a message saying the Green Hut Grow tent was returned...They need to fix this mistake.Any way here's my plants & both mats in use.

adjustable for accurate temperature control
I bought this heating mat to sprout various medicinal herbs. It worked very well and maximized my germination rates even for difficult to sprout seeds. When I was done, I began using it for something else.I have a little 4 pound dog that gets very cold in the winter on my hardwood floors. He sits in his little dog bed shivering.I took this heat mat, set it at 80 degrees and put it under his bed. He now sleeps comfortably with no shivering. I put a thermometer in the bed that has a wifi alarm, to make sure it didn't get too hot. It stayed at 80 degrees with no variation. I ended up turning it down to 78, where it stayed with no fiddling with the temperature control.I will use it again in the spring for sprouting seeds, when the pup no longer needs it.I love it when a product can be used for several purposes. The ability to change the set temperature made sprouting seeds trouble free, and being able to set the temperature at a steady rate enabled me to make the pup more comfortable.I couldn't have used my last heating mat in this way, as it was not adjustable.I am well satisfied with the quality and usefulness of this product.

proofing bread-update
Tried to use this for a bread proofing box made from a Sterilite tote.. House was 72, this pad could only get it up to 78. The controller worked fine, and with a 75 watt bulb, this controlled the heat to 85, and the box heated up in no time. Just get a controller if you want a proofing box.Updating this. After seeing my review, the seller sent me another pad and controller. Tried it again. I set up the pad in an inverted Sterilite box. Put a thermocouple on the pad and the sensor 5 inches above the pad. The pad did get to 110F, but the box only hit 74 (Room at around 70). So it did help, but I like to proof my bread around 80F, and if the hose gets colder in the winter, not sure the pad will do the job. I am moving my rating from 2 to 4 stars because it is working as advertised (reaching 110F) and the seller was prompt in reaching out to me. And the controller works just fine. It may work for seeds, I don't know, but while some people use his for bread, I can't say it works for that purpose. The controller is working for a light bulb I use to heat the box, and that is ideal.Updated - tried this again in winter. Put reflective mylar insulation underneath. Keeps the box at 72-74F now. Haven't tried hotter, but this is working well for a slow proof at that temp. House temp is 68-70, so working well.

Terrible customer service, heat mat broke after just one season
This heat mat worked great for the couple of months that I used it in 2020. Tons of heat, very responsive to the thermostat, and my tomato seedlings loved the warmth. At the beginning of February this year, I got everything set up and put my seeds on the heat mat under some lights. It didn't seem as warm as I remembered, but I thought that must have just been my imagination. After a month of use, I realized that it was barely warmer than room temperature. So I contacted iPower customer service on February 25th. I let them know that I purchased the item on January 29th 2020, and that I was experiencing problems.-------Feb 26, 2021, 9:33 MSTThank you for contacting us.As mentioned in the previous email correspondence the item was purchased on last year 1/29This item was out of warranty as the item has one year warranty.
