Great NO trial
These are a great way of getting your daily nitric oxide and then testing for it to see if it's in your system. This trial set gives you enough capsules for 10 days, but only 4 test strips, so I guess they only want you to test it twice over the course of the trial (one strip for baseline and one strip after taking the capsules per test). The nitric oxide capsules are not too large, and they are tasteless and easy to swallow. I haven't experienced any negative effects whatsoever from taking them, and they are easy on my stomach. These work great for me and I definitely recommend this supplement and test set. I wish more vitamins and supplements had test strips to see if your body is registering what you take.

Not for everyday use. Works but not for daily use.
It seemed to work for the first few days then didn’t feel like it was working any more like my body got used to it. The ingredients seem like quality but just didn’t last very long for me. Good price.

Seems promising

Read directions carefully
Nitric Oxide can be a wonderful boost for your body. It offers support for Heart health, Cognitive health, Nerve and Sexual Health. That is very attractive if you are into physical fitness, an athlete or an older adult or someone just wanting to have the healthiest body possible. This little Trial pack is brilliant to use! It helps you make a healthy, safe decision on the next step in your decisions for diet, exercise, and supplements to reach the level of fitness you are looking for. This was an easy test to use but I advise you to read the directions carefully! This pack has enough Nitric Oxide capsules for a10 day TRIAL. It is recommended to take 2 capsules a day away from food. There are 4 test strips designed to use 2 on the first day and 2 on the 10th day. On day 1 use 1 strip before you take the 2 capsules and then use the other test strip 90 minutes after you've swallowed the 2 capsules. On the 10th day repeat. This is set up this way, so it gives your body an opportunity to be saturated with the nutrients in this supplement and have a good test of your body's absorption. Read the directions carefully. When you are finished the 10 day trial and are wanting to go ahead and include a Nitric Oxide supplement I highly recommend you consult with a knowledgeable Medical Professional or nutritionist as this protocol may interfere with other prescriptions you may be taking or, even though the test shows you could use a little extra Nitric Oxide support, a physical condition you have, using supplementation may not be a good choice. Read directions carefully and do your due diligence and research the benefits of supplementation and the possible side effects. Ps, there are also specific foods that will raise your Nitric Oxide!

I would really like to know the science behind this
I don't know that I have a NO deficiency. I've spoken with my primary care physician about NO deficiency, and he seems to think it's not necessary to test for it, or worry about it. Having said that, I have some of the issues that are attributed to NO deficiency in many articles. In any event, I don't believe it can hurt to try to support a higher level of NO. It seems that most of the supplements intended to increase NO are fairly harmless and may actually be good for you.But until now, I wasn't aware that you could do an easy at home test to determine your NO level. To me, it makes sense to test your NO level to see if the things you're doing are actually improving your NO level. So I was happy to see this "Trial Pack".I would have liked for there to be more test strips because I really wanted to evaluate scientifically. The package comes with only 4 strips.I used 1 strip 16 hours after taking another brand NO supplement, and 5 hours after eating or drinking anything. I might be wrong, but this might be considered my "control" test. At first, I wasn't sure the strip was even working. My level didn't even register on the test strip.I then had a meal that was high in the various vitamins and minerals that are on this supplement label. I even included a couple of servings of beets. I waited the required 90 minutes and then used the 2nd strip. This time, the test strip registered "low".I then took 2 capsules of the Berkeley Life supplement with a small snack. I waited another 90 minutes and then used the 3rd strip. This time, the test strip registered "target".If I had more strips, there are things I would have liked to have tested to see if this supplement was the cause of the increase, or if it was a combination of the meal and supplement.Except for the Beet Root and Potassium Nitrate, I don't think the majority of the contents of this supplement actually support NO production. In all the literature about NO, I've never read that high doses of Vitamin C, B12, or Thiamin help support NO production. Other NO supplements seem to have a much higher content of Beet Root and nitrate minerals. So, I'm a bit confused how this product supports NO production and how it's possible the test strip would show such a dramatic increase of NO.In looking at the description for this Trial Pack, it says that it's actually reporting the "amount of a surrogate marker". Without knowing the actual science behind the test strip, it's hard to know if it's actually able to report the amount of NO, or if the test strip might be reporting the amount of B12 or Thiamin. If it's reporting "a surrogate marker" that means it's not actually reporting the amount of NO, but some other chemical that is associated with certain levels of NO. But that chemical might be elevated without an elevated level of NO.The other thing I would be interested in knowing is how long the NO increase lasts. One of the NO supplements that I take is L-Arginine. But I've read that the NO support of L-Arginine doesn't last very long. I also take L-Citrulline, because I've read that it's NO support lasts several hours. I can see that the B12 in this supplement lasts a few hours. My urine is bright yellow about 30 minutes after taking the supplement and stays bright yellow for a few hours. Bright yellow urine is an indication of elevated B12. So, I would like several more test strips. I would start 90 minutes after taking this supplement and then follow that up with additional testing throughout the day... maybe every hour.Bottom line... the test strips in this trial pack give you the tools to determine your level of NO and gives you the ability to measure the affect of the supplement. I have taken many supplements but then had no idea if the supplement was doing anything.
