Doesn’t have enough pressure
I installed it a month ago and it didn’t have enough pressure to pull the water in. I thought I may have an issue with the inbound water lines and spent hours replacing them. Finally I compared it to the other one we have and the pressure is so much less. Unfortunately I’m passed the return window now so need to buy a new one.

need a full season to see if it holds up, but a simple swap wit the old unit

Just installed and already going bad.
I've had this installed for about a week and it's already started making a bizarre noise. Probably not going to last a month. Complete waste of money.

Pump is leaking
We bought this pump in March 2024, the pump is leaking at the backside of the housing where the raw water pump is. I've reached out a few times w/o a response, how do we return, or get a replacement?

Low quality knockoff that will absolutely fail.
We bought one of these about 8 months ago to replace an original Jabsco macerator and it has never worked properly. Not enough suction on the raw water side to pull sea water into the unit properly. The rubber impeller is also crap and constantly puts off black residue which shows up in the bowl with every flush.... alot of black soot comes off the impeller because its made with some cheap rubber. The final straw was the end of the shaft breaking off that holds the macerator blade. Do not waste your money on this cheap knock off you will regret it. We ordered a new original Jabsco and will now be happy. :)
