Yes, phenolphthalein is an odd choice, but I needed some for a science experiment. This arrived promptly and worked as expected. Happy with my purchase!

I recieved the chemical on time as expected. And more importantly it works perfectly. Maybe I shouldn't be too pessimistic, however the first bottle I purchased 2 years ago didn't work as expected. This bottles color is bright magenta when reacting. The bottles seam to seal well. My old bottle worked well for about a year, then evaporated to almost nothing in 2 months. Time will tell. I will update this in a year.

I have a YouTube channel called DIYscienceguy where I combine craft projects to teach science lessons. I have a craft using this solution to change the color of different liquids depending on their pH. This solution caused a fast reaction that WOW’s kids. Very effective.

I purchased this for a school science demo. It worked exactly as it should.

This indicator works very well. It has a dynamic color you can't miss. The color change indicating property are nice and sharp, usually within one or 2 drops of the active chemical. The bottle is larger than expected, so I'll be in phenol for quite some time.
