Women's Astoria 9x9 Pump

I love these shoes. I was looking for a pair of black heels with a moderately chunky heel and these are exactly that. I was surprised by the shape of the heel; I don't think any of the provided pictures depict it. It's like a circle or very slight oval with an eighth or so of the circle cut out in a semi-circle shape (I included a picture as I don't feel like I'm explaining it well. Please excuse the dirt as I have worn them quite a bit.) They are as comfortable as high heels can be. I wear them for about 3.5 hours at work every few days. Though I do sit most of the time, I haven't had any trouble with them hurting my feet on those nights. I did wear them to a bar one night. I walked for probably half a mile between getting there and going home and I was also on my feet for most of the 3 or so hours I was there. They didn't feel great at the end of that night. I ordered some insoles so they won't hurt next time I need to do that (I recommend the Vivian Lou insoles). They look exactly like the picture and are good quality shoes. The insole is slightly padded, though I wouldn't say they were more comfortable than any other pair of Nine West heels I have bought in the past. They fit well and true to size with no rubbing. I'm stable in the shoes. I've been wearing them every few days for about 4 weeks and they still look brand new on the outside, no scuffs or anything.

WOW.... Gorgeous! These shoes are beautiful. They appear very well made. The heel looks gorgeous, but I am not sure I can go back to wearing heels this high. IRL they look taller than they did in the picture. Admittedly, I may have been so enamored with the look of the shoe on the site, I overlooked jist how high the heels are. A saving grace for those used to high heels again (after Covid), they are NOT stilettos, but a nice, slim stacked heel. Unfortunately, while I wear a 9 in casual sandals and sneakers, these were just too long. I had to return them.

Overall, the Nine West Astoria 9X9 Pump is a decent quality shoe. It is comfortable, stylish, and classic, and it fits true to size. The initial price point was reasonable, typically ranging from $45 to $55. As a flight attendant, this shoe has been my "go-to" work shoe, and I know many colleagues who feel the same. I purchase a new pair quarterly. However, over the past two months, I have noticed a decline in the shoe's quality, and the price has almost doubled. Specifically, the sole tends to separate from the upper part of the shoe, and the heel caps easily fall off. As a result, I am now searching for other shoe options. In my humble opinion and experience, the price increase seems excessive and feels like an attempt to take advantage of the current tariff situation.

Love these and will continue to order a pair. They are comfy enough to wear for long periods of time. The heels are thick and easy to walk on. It fits snug so if you have wide feet it might be too snug. I had bought the nude ones before and they lasted forever.

I’m a flight attendant and love these shoes. It’s the second time I buy them. However, my first pair lasted well over a year, I’m not sure why the durability of this pair is so poor. I already had to get the heel fixed and the rubber sole is already so wasted the leather is getting scuffed. Mind you these are my concourse shoes because we are allowed to change into onboard shoes when we are working on board so we can be more comfortable. I’m going to have to think twice about getting these shoes through Amazon again. Bummer.

These shoes are even prettier in person! I loved them. Unfortunately my fat feet did not 😞. No amount of time on the shoe stretcher was gong to help. For anyone with a narrow or slim foot, these would be perfect. The cushioning in the foot bed was good, the quality is top notch, and I'm sure if my feet were thinner, they'd have been comfortable enough to wear all day. I was sad to send them back. Just not the right fit for me. Hopefully they'll work for YOU!
