This is NOT an ionic hair dryer. I specifically purchased it because it is labeled online as ionic, and am disappointed, as it does not have that characteristic ozone smell or leave my hair feeling healthy and shiny like previous ionic dryers I have used. It seems that the seller is just listing 'ionic' as a common buzzword to catch everyone possible. There is nothing on the packaging or in the info sheet that mentions ionic, so beware if that's important to you. I give it two stars because I like that there is a lower heat setting that doesn't burn my scalp like most hair dryers.::::::::::::Updated review::::::::::::The seller was very kind in addressing my disappointment and offered a refund.

I am blown away by the performance of this hair dryer. It is so powerful and hot. I was worried that by getting a less expensive hair dryer that I would be paying for it by how long it takes to get my hair dry. This is not the case with this one! I am honestly so happy and impressed with how fast this dries my long thick hair.My only other concern I had when debating whether or not to buy this hair dryer was what the color was going to look like in person. It said it was a Champaign gold.. but it didn’t look like a Champaign gold to me at all. It looked more like an orangish rose gold, but I took a chance anyways.When I open my new hair dryer I was not let down by the color. I actually love the color of it! But Champaign gold isn’t the right color to describe it as. I would say it is a coppery pearl. To help you understand what the color actually looks like I took a picture of the hair dryer with my rose gold portable charger, which is only a few shades darker than a rose gold iPhone, so you would have something to compare the color to.Over all I love this hair dryer. The performance of it exceeded my expectations. And the color, which I would say is copper, is still beautiful and very trendy!

This blow dryer dries my hair quickly and is lightweight, so it’s easy for me to take on trips. The whole blow dryer, including the detachable diffuser and cord, weighs 677 grams. The detachable diffuser by itself weighs 23 g. I like that the air vent is easy to access just by flipping the magnetic lock open, and it is nice that there is a replacement filter included. This makes it easy for me to keep clean. The diffuser attachment snaps easily into place and is easy to rotate for the direction of airflow. It does not wiggle and therefore maintains its position. The copper color looks nice. The hanging loop on the cord makes it convenient for me to put on a hook. The cord also has a Velcro strap so I can loop the excess and strap it snugly to keep it tidy. The toggle buttons that control the heat and fan speed are much easier for me to use than the slide switches on my old hair dryer. I like that I can blow dry with cool air as well as heat. My complaints about the dryer would be that it does not have a swivel cord on it, nor is the cord retractable.

So when I turned this on the first time, it was slightly more powerful than the more expensive dryer it's replacing. Then I realized it was only on medium. On high it's insane. I just got it last week, but it's definitely working well thus far. Hopefully it will continue to provide this level of power, so I can enjoy not spending a year drying my very thick hair. I like that it still has drying power on the "cool" setting.

Update:Nition contacted me and sent me replacement pieces that work much better than the previous one. So far i’m Happy with my hair dryer but specially with the customer service who worked to please me.Old review:The first time I used this hair dryer I was blown away! My hair looked incredible and shiny in no time. After a couple of months of use the handle started melting, before that it was smelling like burn plastic. It gets sooo hot you can’t hold it on your hands! Totally unsafe. I just wasted my money :(

It’s a good blow dryer. It has soft buttons to switch speeds. My blow dryer broke after 2 months of using it less than 4 times a week. I was instantly contacted by the vendor and sent a brand new one since the product has a 2 year warranty. Very happy with their customer service. Thank you NITION.

I’ve only been using this for a couple of weeks. I very much like that it has multiple speeds and temperatures, including a cool shot button. I’ve found that the medium heat and high speed works best with my shoulder-length, thick hair - dries quickly with minimal heat damage. It’s a bit heavier than I expected, but not impossibly so (that said, I don’t spend a great deal of time styling my hair). Very nice dryer for the price and I would definitely recommend it.

I would rarely blow dry my hair because it just takes so long with my previous dryer. Plus my old expensive ionic dryer didn't have different temperatures or a cool shot button so it was just too hot for me. THIS DRYER IS SO MUCH BETTER and for like a fraction of what I paid for my other one. This one has three different speeds, three different temps AND a cool shot button. All super helpful for me because I get hot easily and what is the point of blow drying my hair if I'm just gonna sweat... yuck. Also important is that the dryer is comfortable to hold so no hand cramps. I have never dried my hair so fast, especially straight out of the shower. I have long thick hair up to my bra line, just for reference.

Let me begin saying that I have 0 in patient, and this hair dryer is amazing. With other hair dryers, I last like 1hr 30mins or 2hr to remove the humidity and hairstyle my hair. But with this product, I do my hair in 30 mins (and I have long and curly hair). I am truly happy with my purchase. Quality and results vs price totally worth it, and actually it is a bargain.

I bought this to replace my Conair dryer that broke within a couple months. This one is so much nicer! The different heat settings are nice so I don’t have to worry about burning my hair, but it gets hot enough to really work well for heat sealing the soaps I make. Comes with an extra filter which is awesome as our house is always full of dust and fur. It seems really solid so hopefully it’ll last me a long time.Note: got it on sale too. Amazing price!

I have short curly hair that i have coloured many times. At certain days, I like to wear my hair like it was blown out by a professional hairdresser at a salon. My old dryer made it impossible for me to style my hair with out being late or too sweaty because of the hair pulling over and over again. This dryer cut my time in half. Plus with all the products that i put on my hair, it has kept it really shiny and unfrizzy. Just hope this dryer lasts because Im loving it.

I have to give this hair dryer a poor rating even though I've loved it. I've been through two of these in less than a year and my second one just died on me after only 10 months of use (and NOT daily). It's a great dryer for the price but you get what you pay for. They accepted a return on the first one because it died within a month, but warranty is only 60 days.Fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice and I'm buying a better quality dryer this time.

It only worked for six months and then something inside the handle got really hot to the point of burning my skin while holding it. There was also a horrible smell... burnt plastic!! So I had to stop using it once and for all... afraid that it might caught fire. The company won’t even have the courtesy to answer the 2 emails I sent them. So no need to tell you that if you’re looking for a long term reliable hair dryer... search elsewhere. Thank God My old Remington was there to the rescue!!Le séchoir a bien fonctionné pendant les six premiers mois. Et bien que mon mari et moi en avons toujours très bien pris soins, il a soudainement commencé à avoir un sérieux problème… soit la poignée devient très chaude au point qu'on peut se brûler la main et on sent une odeur de plastique brulée. Et également on voit même une petite cavité sur le manche là ou le plastique est fondu. Donc nous avons dû arrêter de l'utiliser car trop dangereux. J'ai écrit à deux reprises à la compagnie NITION et je n'ai jamais eu de réponse de leur part. Vraiment pas professionnel!! Donc un petit conseil si vous vous chercher un bon séchoir à long terme… celui-ci ne vous contentera pas. De plus, la couleur (genre cuivre) laisse à désirer! Naturellement je ne le conseille pas à qui que ce soit! J'aurais dû me racheter un autre séchoir REMINGTON qui dure plusieurs années et qui sont beaucoup plus fiables. Lesson learned!

I am very disappointed with this hair dryer. When I first got it, it had a bad chemical smell (while using it), which I thought would go away after a few uses. Unfortunately, the smell is still there and it actually hurts my lungs. I am going to have to stop using it and buy a new one, and unfortunately I can't return it because it is now too late. Also, the buttons for turning the hair dryer on are right where you hold the the thing to dry your hair and so you always hit the buttons accidentally while using it. I don't recommend this hair dryer at all.

I've had this hair dryer for a year and I can honestly say it's ok. Not great, not bad just ok. It gets the job done with 3 heat and speed settings but it's no better than any other generic hair dryer I've used in the past.

Good hairdryer. A bit heavy but very nice durable material, nicer than pictured. I have only used it once so far, but liked the multiple settings and dries in a timely manner. Great responsive customer service as received a free paddle brush from them after contacting them to extend the warranty for free.

To be honest, when I first opened the package for this hairdryer, I wasn’t impressed- the hairdryer itself looks pretty cheap on the outside but it’s actually very powerful on the inside which is I guess what matters most in the end,Works well - happy with the performance

I bought it to make my hair at home.It is so easy to use, specially with its light weight.I really don't want going to salon again.It saves money.I can control in heat settings, speed setting to make my favorite hairstyle.

I bought this to use at the gym and so far I like it. I don't think I am in love with it, considering that I have a better blow dryer at home, but honestly, it does a good job of drying my hair quickly without damaging my hair. The downside it that the sound of the dryer is louder than I anticipated (not enough to annoy me tho)

This dryer is perfect for diffusing my curly hair, and the settings are exactly what I need! Very sleek and simple design, fits all of my attachments as well.I had an issue where the low fan setting wasn't working correctly, I reached out to the seller and they replaced it free of charge. The new one arrived days later and it has worked wonderfully since then.
