Waterproof cast/bandage protector indeed!!!
This works really well!!! I had surgery involving my ankle area, I had stitches and I was in a splint. The thought of not being able to take a shower when I really needed one was mortifying!!!!! Then, I decided, I'll look at shower covers for casts! This popped up! It's very sturdy. It definitely is, especially around the gasket area. I wipe it clean after showering and I hang it to dry. Those are the instructions. Just be careful while in the shower because soapy water does make it a little hazardous but, I shower while someone is home. You should ALWAYS do that in case you do slip. I was okay though. I didn't slip at all really. You just have to be mindful that you don't need to clean the leg or ankle that it's covering so don't soap it down. It fits snuggly like it's supposed to, right above the knee. Then, slide it up a little bit and you'll know you've got a good fit if it feels like your circulation is going to be impeded!!! It says in the directions, you should only wear it for 30 minutes because circulation issues could arise. I'm telling you I'm glad I bought it because there's nothing like a shower when you can't shower for a few days because you had surgery!!!!! Adults, get the adult size. It'll also work if you have a cast on your arm.

Cast protector really works in the shower!
I had surgery last week to repair an Achilles tendon tear and will be non-weight bearing for 4 weeks. I was buying a knee scooter & then found this as I knew I wouldn’t be able to get the bandage wet. I took a shower this s morning for the first time and was very impressed with the cast protector. I was sitting in a shower chair and the bandage never got wet. It fit perfectly. Would definitely recommend this product; my bandage goes from my toes to right under my knee and this fit nicely above my knee.

Made showering easy!
This made showering so easy! It did a great job, but I was OCD about making sure that no water got into my cast, so I wore this and also wrapped Press N Seal around the top of this to ensure that NO water got in. I showered daily and had no issues with water getting in for the 6 weeks that I had the cast on my leg

Amazing
Amazing. Really loved it. I bought this cast cover for daily showers after my son broke his wrist and it has been a lifesaver! The material is thick, durable, and completely waterproof. It slides on easily and forms a secure, snug seal without being too tight or uncomfortable. No water has leaked through, even during long showers. It’s reusable, easy to clean, and dries quickly. I love how it gives me peace of mind, no more awkward plastic bags and tape! If you have a cast and want to keep it dry and protected, this product is absolutely worth it. Great value, great quality. Highly recommend!

Perfect for after surgery
This thing has made all the difference in how I feel after having foot surgery. I had to wait a few days for it to arrive but since have used it daily to shower. It is easy to put on without bending or moving my foot too much. It’s very large and would accommodate any size foot, even wrapped in bandages or casts. It does not leak at all. I left it very low on my leg so I could shave as far down as possible and it didn’t budge. Even after a long, hot, shower. I’m sure it will last a good while.

Works well for the shower
Great solution for my son’s broken leg. Kept his cast mostly dry. There was a bit of pooling water at the heal area so we tucked a small towel around the thigh where it seals to prevent water from dripping into it. That solved the problem. Would not work to completely submerge your leg in a bathtub or a pool but it’s good for a shower . Be careful not to push your foot too hard into it. My son poked his toe through the plastic. We just used packing tape to repair it. After using it, you can turn it inside out and lay it out or hang it so it dries completely and is ready for your next shower. Got the job done for us!

Keeps you dry.
Unfortunately my son broke his thumb and is in a cast. His cast is waterproof, but it takes so long to dry out he doesn’t like getting it wet. This works great. He can put it on himself even with limited use of one hand.

Would work wonderfully with a skinnier cast/bandage!
If you have any width or girth to your cast, you may want to use a trash bag and duct tape. This cover worked and the rubber seal stopped any leaks. However if you have a significant amount of Ace bandage wrapped around the cast, it will be very difficult to get the cover on and in position AND GETTING THE COVER OFF WILL BE HARDER STILL. The on and off action of the sleeve will cause a great amount of the Ace bandage to be “displaced” or “raked” off. The stretchability of the rubber cuff is sufficient, but it causes a lot of damage or problems when putting the sleeve/cover on AND OFF ESPECIALLY.
