Organic Ceylon Cinnamon Powder - Family Owned Since 1935 - 1.6 oz. Glass Bottle

I ONLY use Ceylon cinnamon so I know what I expect re taste. It is more mild than Saigon or Cassia, but I do expect SOME taste.But back to THIS cinnamon.....FIRST, PROS ....WELL-SEALED, as in there is an inner seal that was really sealed on.SMELL....GREAT SMELLCONS:AMOUNT - most I have used are about 2.8 ounces, this is 1.6 ounces, so NOT that GREAT of a deal. It's a taller bottle and I didn't pay attention to the amount, but because of other con listed below, I poured it into an old cinnamon bottle I had, and then looked at amount each held.REALLY NOT MUCH TASTE AT ALL! I put a bit directly on my finger and tasted and got...almost nothing re taste.BOTTLE TOP....there are two SNAP parts, one to sprinkle and one to pour....they both CLICK SHUT, but...there are GAPS on the sides of both if you look at them. So air, anything can get in. NOT well-sealed top.I had to put in the cinnamon bottle of another brand I was almost out of because of the problem above.Won't be buying again. I would rather pay more and get a better-tasting cinnamon and one that has a secure top.

I recommend this natural Ceylon cinnamon as it is directly from it's source and unchanged or modified in anyway. The family owned farm is dedicated to a great product and great customer service. This cinnamon is lighter in color and has less bite than the cinnamon offered in most grocery stores in the U.S. because our distributors don't use actual Ceylon cinnamon and use Saigon cinnamon instead. Do your own research and taste testing and choose which you prefer as I have. Note: Some testing shows Ceylon cinnamon is healthier but I am not a nutritionist or a scientist so take that advice with a grain of salt.

Love the taste, this is definitely better than store bought cinnamon. However they should have labeled the top two lid dispensers better. I have no idea which one is pour or sprinkle so i labeled one with a grey marker. I also went to the site on the label and the links did not work on their internet page. If it wasn't for those two minor things i would have given the product five stars.

We in fact use cinnamon in many allopathic medications for heart and blood diseases.Plus it is organic. Better than the nondescript cinnamon I got at Whole Foods before.Ceylon cinnamon is usually expensive(moreso inflated costs) but I got this at a deal!(bottle is big too)

I bought this and spicely to compare and will be buying this from now on as the price is reasonable and it’s a family business.

I like the taste- less bitter (less drying to the mouth feeling) than cassa cinnamon spices available at the grocery store. Does not have a safe consumption limit vs cassa 1/2 tsp per day or Saigon cinnamon even less ( due to the chemical in those barks that affects the liver) per webmd

This was the exact combination I was looking for. Organic, tasty, and in a glass bottle, and not from some large corporation. I'm very satisfied with this delicious Ceylon cinnamon and will order again once I finish this bottle up. Highly recommend. Enjoy!

I wasn’t sure that there would be a big difference in taste with this organic Ceylon cinnamon but I am a believer now! Well worth the extra expense.
