Q: My 12 year old daughter starts work tomorrow at the Foxconn factory, will these fit her?

These gloves are cotton, not latex, and are not one size fits all. It is difficult to say who they will fit as different people have different size hands so I can't say that gloves that fit a grown man's hands will fit a 12 year old girl's hands.

Q: how long are the gloves measured from tip of middle finger to wrist area?

I just measured and from the top to the end of the wrist was 10 inches. I had some that have been washed and they do shrink a little, about 1/2 inch. Hope this helps.

Q: are the gloves washable?

The real "Gloves Legend" brand are washable, which these are NOT. This seller ships gloves that are thinner than the genuine Gloves Legend.

Q: could this be used to help my hands absorb ointments?

Possibly. I purchased them to handle coins. They are soft cotton and wash/dry easily. I would imagine they could be used as you want, since there are many other types of gloves on the market for that purpose, but they are very expensive. I've read that putting lotion on hands, for instance, before bed will keep hands softer - so why wouldn't these work for you. Hope this helps.
