I am sorry but, I have to admit i am somewhat disappointed in the quality. For the price they are functional and if you are looking for an inexpensive set then this fits the bill. Functionality they are OK but not great, definitely not high quality at all. Let me go piece by piece starting with what was good (being generous).+ The Potato Masher (S shaped one) performed the best. It was fairly sturdy and did its job without much fuss.+ Crinkle Cutter - Works ok but rigidity is a concern. While it cut raw potatoes, it did not inspire confidence. I felt better cutting potatoes into slices with a regular knife and then cutting the crinkle cuts from there but it doe work slicing though the whole potato so, it get added to the +(plus) column. It is small, but it is also advertised as small, too small for crinkle fries (for me) but good for veggies.+ Peeler - Mediocre at best. While the blade was sharp enough, i was afraid of applying much pressure as it feel like it would bend. I was able peel the potato and a carrot without bending the tool but there was some flex when applying pressure to get into the odd shape in the carrot. It did its job as intended so it gets a + as well but, I have cheap plastic potato peelers that feel stronger..+ The set looks really nice and easily cleaned up.+ InexpensiveUnfortunately:- The other two Potato Mashers (round hole and square hole ones) - These both were quite disappointing, they are identical except for the holes and immediately bent on potatoes, unlike the S-shaped masher. I would not use them to make a family sized batch of mashed potatoes. If you're gentle and the potatoes are super soft then they work but, if you have to actually mash them... use something else... These may be better suited for really soft stull like avocado or Jell-O.All of these tools are very light weight and made with very thin material, while they are functional they are not quality, let alone "High Quality". I try not to be overly critical in reviews but i cannot in good conscience give anything more than 3 stars.

Our old one broke a while ago, we had been stuck using a spoon because all the ones we tried are weak and brittle, breaks or bends to easy. They haven't made them like they used to when I was really young. I was desperately in need of one, when I saw these I decided to give them a try, I wasn't paying to much attention and thought I was only getting one of them or something like that. Surprisingly to say, all of that came in, I was shocked but extremely grateful for this because my baby nephews wanted mashed Potatoes and I was not going to say no. These are fantastic, they have not bend, are a nice weight and because of the knife and peeler, especially the knife, making crinkled cut chip or fries is easy.

We recently moved, and I recently discovered that my s-shaped potato masher apparently ran off with my turkey baster and rolling pin! AACK! Mashing my potatoes took longer and was much more difficult without an actual masher than I thought it would be! I finally got out my dough cutter, and sort of got the job done. I started immediately looking for a new masher--a small one, my preference--found this set at a fabulous price, and ordered. This is a very nice set. The five tools in the kit are very well made. The handles are comfortable to use, and they are very sturdy and durable. In addition to the three mashers, there is a peeler, and a crinkle-cutting slicer; perfect for french fries, or just adding a little decorative feature to your vegs. I have not had one before, and amhaving fun experimenting. The set is stainless steel, so it cleans easily. The joints/welds are well done, and the tools are very stable when being used. This is a great set for a very low price, and combined with a higher quality than I expected, is a real, true bargain. I would recommend this set without hesitation. It would also make a great gift for a cook who is accumulating good tools.

First off you get a decent number of mashers but they are not durable. The crinkle cut knife was the only item I can see myself reusing at lot as my kid will only eat their veggies if it is cut "cool". As for the mashers, especially the wavy one… with the slightest amount of pressure, I dented in one side of the handle and it is all lopsided now. There are better mashers on the market, I fell for the quantity instead of quality situation.

I was surprised at how lightweight each piece is. That made me a little leery - wondering how durable these would be, but I was pleasantly surprised - they seem sturdy.There are 3 different types of potato mashers:1. Wavy-edge masher (this is the one I'm used to)2. Round hole3. Square holeAs I tried out each one of these, I was impressed with how solid each felt in my hand. They may be light, but they feel like they are well made.The peeler is shockingly sharp - be careful with this. I love a sharp peeler - so I'm very impressed with this, but don't cut yourself.The crinkle knife - I'm really stymied by this. I've never used one, and this one doesn't seem sharp (maybe it's not supposed to be?). I guess I'll find out by using it.These aren't expensive, and wouldn't be confused for an expensive set, but they seem like they will do the job well.

These have worked good for me so far but they are not as strong as I hoped for. So too much pressure on these and you might break it. I used the peeler that came with it and it was not easy to use. It peels a little bit deeper than most peelers I have owned and was a little difficult to use. I am glad it comes with a couple sets because I can tell that with the quality of these, they may not last long.

These are smaller than our old masher, so do not prevent you from opening the drawer - but still work well.The are good quality and should last for ever.
