Not too soft. Good solid pencil.

Though the pencil is incredibly easy to use, draws a lovely fine line which you can add on to if you want it thicker, has very good staying power (even on an older face ) there is no sign of the colour - its simply a soft black. So where I would expect a dark navy/purple/plum colour which looks amazing with brown eyes, this simply has no colour. Shame really. I bought 2 gave the seller top marks as its not their fault - there simply isn't a colour.
