Good for uPVC
Why can't we get this here any more? It seems to work well for uPVC windows, and apparently this "Neutral" type is better suited to that, compared to the plain old Dow 785 which is the "Acetoxy" (smelly!) type. Also it doesn't get up your nose like the Acetoxy ones do. My window seals always go mouldy after a few years but that's a function of their bad design (metal bridging outdoor cold and indoor warmth gives a lot of condensation). Not this stuff's fault, nothing works longer than that on my windows as far as I know.

Good quality , expensive, best to use on project you're going to use it all or alot of it to save waste as could dry up over time.

Product works ok, if you can replace the missing nozzle.
Product arrived without application nozzle! I see from the reviews that this has happened to other people too! I had to ‘borrow’ a nozzle from a neighbour, after which the product worked ok.

The silicone ordered is in date range but came without nozzle,so incomplete.lucky I used one off other tubes I had

Nous avons choisi ce mastic en raison de ses excellents avis en ligne, optant pour les versions blanche et transparente. Cependant, dans le guide d'utilisation, il est précisé que le mastic perd de son efficacité s'il est fabriqué il y a plus d'un an. Lors de la réception de notre commande, l'un des produits avait été fabriqué il y a 1 an et 3 mois, ce qui dépassait le délai recommandé. Le service après-vente (SAV) a été très réactif et nous a rapidement remboursé pour ce produit. Comme nous en avions commandé deux, nous n’avons pas racheté le produit, mais nous avons apprécié la réactivité du SAV. Quant à l'autre tube, il fonctionne très bien et nous n’avons rencontré aucun problème. À voir dans 4 ans si les joints restent toujours en bon état, mais pour l'instant, tout est parfait. Dans l'ensemble, je recommande ce produit, tout en étant vigilant sur la date de fabrication. Le SAV est très efficace, ce qui ajoute une belle sécurité.
