Does this work if blind isn’t in a corner? And does it only work with roller blinds?

It doesn’t work that well generally, to be honest: it sort of extends the blinds but not by that much so you still get light around the sides. You can bend these a bit to curve them, which helps a bit - but is not fool-proof. Also, actually rolling the blind up/down becomes more tricky... It’s a more involved solution but if you want proper black-out, you really need to have plastic tracks fitted for the blind to sit in as it moves up and down...

Do these work on roman blinds?

I would assume so as they clip over the rolling part & just hang. You take them off when opening/closing

Do I need to take off every time I open the blinds?

Yes I believe so. It has a hook that can hang onto your blind or onto a wall. I guess if it hooked onto something else other than your blind it is possible. For us we have to take it off so we don’t really. Hope this helps

Not very well, no - a definite design flaw...
