Well worth the money and excellent quality.
I currently live in apartments and the water is harsh and the water pressure is horrible. I previously had a so called high water pressure shower head with a filter. However, the filter was made of plastic and painted chrome and broke while screwing on and the shower head did nothing to increase flow.I ordered this because it was made of all metal and promised high pressure. I definitely delivers. My shower is high powered and doesn't blow through hot water. Its pretty perfect and you can tell how great the quality is. Honestly I'm shocked this didn't cost more. The shower head even came with the tape to install it, extra washers and a couple replacement silicone pieces for the head.I would recommend this to anyone. Its worth the money and will last for a long time.

fabulous, luxurious, superior quality
This Hammerhead (Chrome) 2.5gpm shower head arrived on schedule, unblemished.I installed it in 5 minutes, replacing a 20 year old Moen massaging shower head that had worn out.Pros: Luxurious, comfortable, alluring shower. I do not expect to be saving any water with this shower head, as both my wife and I are now taking longer showers! The stream, even at very low water flow rates, is comfortable and soothing. Higher flow rates are powerful, but not piercing.Cons: It is exactly what we were shopping for. But if multiple stream settings are desired, this is not the model you seek. Hammerhead sells a different model that massages, if that's your thing... Buy that one.The shower head is controlled in my home by a Delta Monitor (Series 15) variable flow and variable temperature valve. I measured flow rates with this shower head. On "low," 0.9 gallons per minute (gpm) flows. on "high" 2.25 gpm flows. (Our water pressure is 70psi.) For my purposes, the lower flow Hammerhead flow restricter is unnecessary; but If you cannot control the flow rate with your shower valve, you might prefer the 1.75 gpm model to conserve water.Build quality is luxurious, as pictured. It is much lighter than I anticipated, since it is "all metal" and the competition is "all plastic." Nevertheless, it feels balanced and comfortable to use. The head heats up to water temperature, while the handle remains cooler. The hose is 6 feet long, and seems to be built to last.A (adjustable) wrench is required for installation, as none of the fittings are made of plastic. :)If you seek a luxurious, efficient, simple and elegant shower, look no further!*I purchased a "returned" unit for $58. It is flawless.

Believe the marketing , these shower heads are built to last !
I have gone through a multitude of big box store shower head brands most are expensive , feature laden plastic pieces of crap that last maybe a year .The Hammerhead is the real deal , all metal construction , with metal fittings set this unit apart. No leaks , great pressure, easy to install make buying this an easy choice.

Solid construction, strong flow, beautiful design & finish!
This is the shower head I've been searching for! I've been using recognizable, name brand, handheld shower heads for decades. They all offer numerous different spray options, are predominantly plastic, with gears and moving parts that eventually leak or fail. All I've ever wanted was ONE, POWERFUL shower stream to clean me and the shower efficiently and effectively. You can feel the quality of the solid metal construction of the Hammerhead in your hands. It produces a strong, concentrated, satisfying flow of water. The design is sleek, simple, and lovely. The brushed nickel finish is beautiful and blends well with all the other brushed nickel fixtures in the bathroom. So far, it has resisted any spotting or staining. This showered is worth every penny. I highly recommend.

Well-made, high performance, no-frills showerhead
Pros: As it says in the name, this model features all-metal construction (except the shower nozzles, which are silicone), and is relatively straightforward to install. Also, I was able to locate the green 2.5 waterflow restrictor and easily yank it out with a needle-nose pliers, so I can't attest to whether it performs well without it. But pressure is great, and there's a lifetime warranty!Cons: a bunch of minor design omissions kept this from earning 5 stars:1. The water flow has no adjustments whatsoever. Granted, most cheap showerheads have way too many unnecessary and gimmicky flow variations, but I miss having a concentrated flow option.2. There is no pause flow button which reduces the flow to a trickle while you're soaping up. (Having a trickle option rather than a shutoff also keeps the water temperature constant). This is especially curious because having this basic function probably saves more water (and hot water) than the government-mandated flow restrictor.3. The metal handle on the showerhead is thin, smooth and round, with no indentations for your hand/fingers - that makes it slide around in your hand when you're using it to rinse off. (The fact that your hands are likely soapy makes this design omission even worse).4. The slot/holder for the showerhead is metal and so is the showerhead, so it makes a clunky sound every time you reinsert it, and will likely scratch the finish on the showerhead handle in short order. The inside of the slot/holder should be lined with something like rubber or soft plastic.5. While the major component parts are well-packaged and labeled, there are two containers - one a paper envelope and the other a teeny resealable bag - marked "Extra" which have a variety of rubber rings, filters, nozzles etc. which are not labeled (either in the containers or in the instructions). It's a bit ambiguous whether you're supposed to keep all of them for future use, or whether you're supposed to use some of them for the initial assembly/installation. I eventually figured it out, but it could very easily be made clearer. They could at least label each form of "extra" part in the instructions and state where in the unit they go.6. The instructions do not make it clear how to tighten/loosen the portion of the showerhead holder that swivels. When I first installed the unit, I could not get it to stay in any position except pointing down. I eventually figured that out as well. It's not like the manual is written in broken English - it's otherwise very clear.

Best in the marketplace
I’ve head this shower head for 3 years and it still looks like new. I love it, the pressure is great, aesthetically pleasing, and very high quality. Works exceptionally well. I also appreciate the extra shower hose length.
