Worked but kind of hard to bend into the right position.

I got this installed on my boat pretty easily but after one season the main rod has rusted. I wonder if I had to something to it but I figured it would be a little more resistant than that. Don't know if I will get the same one or buy something else to solve my auxiliary motor steering.

Makes it so much easier. A little fabrication may be necessary to fit your application but most of the parts you need are in the kit.

The product arrived in just a day aor so. There were a couple of different mounting options so I was able to make it fit to steer a 5 hp kicker from a 50 hp. I had to shorten the rod by six inches. I used a jig saw with a metal cutting blade with no problems.

Simple to adapt, no special tools required, snapped right on both motors and worked flawlessly . I used it on a Mercury 40hp to a 4hp kicker.

Just what was needed to tie in the steering of my kicker engine with my main engine. I love the quick attach ends for removal when I want to back troll. Get the stainless steel version if you boat in saltwater.
