Not a light pink, a light light pink.
When you write with it you can hardly see it at all, I have to go other it with two or three. However it is good quality, and easy to use. It's also not the color of pink I was thinking it would be, idk.

Great on watercolour paper (see review)
This is a review for the transparent blending pen by the way, the reviews seem to be for all to coloured pens. At first, I thought I wasn't going to be able to get on with it because on NORMAL paper the pen grates up the paper and you get white blobs and it also spreads out and bleeds into the page and looks horrid. I had to purchase some WATERCOLOUR PAPER and hey presto... It works beautifully. I have only just started experimenting but I am excited about the options I now have to blend my Calligraphy colours.

Dachte vielleicht will jemand Beispiele

Pricey comparing to Jap prices
unlike others I don't use it for calligraphy, mine sucks, so I use it draw stuff or highlight things on my bullet journal. if you are beginner and just practicing calligraphy don't buy these ones as they are pricey in the UK / Europe, if you import them directly from Jap, you'll pay less but there's that waiting time. There are loads of cheaper alternatives for beginners. The colour variety is mind blowing. This has a double side so you use one for lettering and fill it with the otherside

Pushes colour about
This pen can be used either before or after laying down the colour. It acts like watercolour in that it can push colour away and lift colour out rather than blending it to a fade, so I would advise practising first before using it on your masterpiece. It is very saturating, and can cause bleeding over the lines you have drawn, so I would also advise caution if you are going right up to the edges of a line. A good quality thick watercolour paper seems to work better and avoids pilling.

Didn't blend, tore up my paper
The blender pen made my paper go bobbly and rough. I tried using Bristol board, which is super smooth and suitable for both ink and water, and I tried good quality cartridge paper and I watched various videos online to make sure I was using the blender right. But it didn't blend the colours at all, it just left an ugly blob between the two colours and it very quickly damaged the surface of the papers.
