The lead holders themselves seem like a lightweight cheaper plastic, but the lead inside is wonderful. The colours are rich and so smooth and creamy when drawing with them, not scratchy or waxy like other coloured pencils I've tried. I also think it's a very smart move to make a lead sharpener built in to a pencil-shaped tube, makes it much more ergonomic to have a sharpener that fits nicely in the case with all the other pencils! My only issue is I wish there were refills available to buy separately! They give you a tube with 1 refill for each colour but I'd rather not buy a 2nd full set of these pencils once I run out of any colours.

Love these pencils although quite soft leads. Use them with my adult colouring books

I don't write reviews often but when I come across something I genuinely like I feel I need to recommend the product. I am a bit heavy handed with colouring pencils and always break the 'lead'. That is why these are perfect. They are soft and smooth and go on like butter. I went over watercolour, no problem, even while it was still not fully dry. Because you don't have to press hard it doesn't damage the paper. The colours are beautiful and vibrant. Plenty of each colour to choose from. I thought they were such a bargain I came back and bought two more packs, because I'm sure the price will go up. I hope they'll make refills in the future, but just in case they don't I've stocked up

Ho comprato queste mine da adattare ad un Portamine da 2,5 cm e sono perfette. Utili per avere a portata di mano 36 pastelli di colori diversi, con un ingombro minimo. Il colore delle mine è abbastanza intenso e la varietà di colori piuttosto ampia.

Ik ben echt onder de indruk van deze potloden. De kleur afgaven is zeer helder. Het aanbrengen van lagen gaat erg goed en het blenden van de kleuren ook. These are great! Comes in nice case with eraser and the slickest little sharper. I never knew a tiny, lead only sharper like this existed and now I don’t want to live without it. There is also a refill for each color!! Excellent value, colors blend well and erase easily and sufficiently. They will build up a wax bloom after several layers, but most pencils do. Very durable! They perfectly survived a 2 week trip, mostly in the car, between the floor and my lap. If you want artist grade, buy Prismacolor. If you want a great set for traveling and fun everyday use, GET THESE!

Definitely worth getting mechanical coloured pencils if you enjoy colouring without the fear of the core breaking when they're dropped. The colours are rich, they have a pleasant texture and the pencils are comfortable to grip. I use them primarily for sketching and they preform as needed in that department. As for colouring, they do layer well together, you can achieve a lot of different colour values and hues if they're layered well (light to dark for example). The case is sturdy and well made, I appreciate that the pencils fit in each holder without shifting or sliding. The zipper is solid and so is the strap handle for carrying the case. The extra colour cores they provide should give at least a replacement for each pencil. I haven't entirely used up a core yet and I draw four days out of the week. Surprisingly, the eraser works well!
