The boots are sized properly to fit over shoes such as sneakers. The tread provides good footing without being so deep that small stones lodge in the tread. Since our driveways to the barn and other storage sheds are gravel, this has been an issue in the past.Since the flap inside is continuous the boots can be hosed down carefully without getting water inside the boots.We only had one problem. Check your boots carefully when they arrive. The first pair had a clasp missing. However, return and replacement was very easy and the replacements were shipped the same day I printed out the return label. They didn't wait for the package to return.All in all, a good product and good return procedure.

I grew up in a farm town. These are the boots I remember seeing farmers wearing at the feed store, in the hog lot, at the livestock auction. They are heavy duty .. and be warned, after wearing these while chasing a wounded deer through a swampy area I really felt the weight. Also-- and this is my own fault -- I am a big guy and my calves (on my legs, not from cows) are so large that I can't buckle the top two buckles.

My husband wanted some boots that would fit over his shoes. I ordered this boot 2 sizes larger than his shoes as per some of the comments. The boots are a good quality but he still has problems getting them on over his shoes. It may be just him!

I bought these boots and we've had the warmest winter that I can remember. I never fired up my snow blower this winter. So, my review is based on the observed quality of these boots. They are easy to put on over shoes (I bought them one size larger than my shoe size to ensure easy use). They are very heavy rubber and it looks as if they'll be long lasting. These might be a bit too heavy if you walk a mail route but for the average snow shoveler or snow blower user I'm sure they'll work just fine. I really like the obvious quality of these boots. But I'd be happy not to use them next year, though. See? Global warming is never bad for everyone.

The boots are high quality and seem to be durable and water-repellent. Please be aware, however, that they are over-shoe boots only. The sole has no structure of its own and is very flexible without a pair of shoes inside to give it support.

Received promptly. A little lighter in weight than the pair I was replacing, but seem to be good quality. I use when shoveling snow.

These are made to wear over shoes (I thought) got /12 size bigger, should have gotten 1 1/2 size bigger - need better instructions
