Unboxing the Junior G
I have just received this spray gun today, so cannot give a full review yet. However, I can give first impressions on opening the box if it helps. The gun arrived in a clear film covered and Sagola reflective sealed box which was reassuring. Inside were the 600 ml paint pot, the spray gun and a female 1/4 " BSP Euro connector (equivalent to PCL XF, etc.), each contained in a separate plastic bag for protection. There was also an introductory leaflet giving web addresses for instructions download and guarantee registration (a good idea). Although it's nice to have printed instructions right out of the box, this seems to be normal these days.Immediate first impressions were very good. The gun has a matt silver finish over the body and although moulding seams are visible in a couple of places near the top of the gun this is very minor and the hand hold has been smoothly finished under the surface finish. The pot seems to be good quality with a secure lid and once assembled the gun feels good in the hand with nice balance. Not too heavy either. The controls move smoothly and are nicely machined and finished. The trigger has a very good action and a distinct transition from air only to spraying which, as a beginner, I quite like. Additionally, it doesn't have the sloppiness found in some other guns, even more expensive ones !To sum up, this is a well made, workmanlike piece of kit and I'm looking forward to shooting some primer through it soon !
