stick with traditional tool lanyard.
Not recommended. Still gets hung up on stuff and you have to pull on it to get it to retract. Bulky reel and it's a little costly for additional carribeaners

Didn’t even get to use it!
This sat in my tool bag for a little over a year before I had a reason to use it. Pulled the cord out and now it won’t retract. Waste of money apparently.
