History of Britain (Vol 3): The Fate of the Empire: 1776-2000 Hardcover – 24 October 2002

Schama at his best - just the well written, non sensational essentials covering such a long period of time. He and it really connect with the reader.

Good reading

I had already bought the complete BBC DVD series (History of Britain) by Simon Schama and I loved it, then, I searched for a written version on Amazon site and I found those 3 volumes from the same author and I ordered them too. I wish I knew it before, so I could have ordered the whole collection all together.I bought a used hardcover (volume 3) and it was in a pretty good condition and it is worth each penny I paid for. I also got volumes I and II (hardcover) from another publisher, but I prefer BBC edition, because the paper quality is better and pictures are very beautiful.I strongly recommed this complete Schama's works (DVDs and books), but check all available editions before ordering them.

This is the fantastic and interesting radio collection of the fight of the Empire between 1776 and it is read by Timothy West and is a fantastic opened history of history of Britain but he's make sure that you get all parts of this desk as they carry a lot of discs in there from part 1 to part three covering all aspects of England and a very fantastic writer and historian who has put this collection together this is the third in the series
