Fun for all ages
Incredible durable product! Bought it first in the size 3 to see if it stood up to the description, good size. Highly recommend this basketball. After seeing the grand kids playing non stop with the 3, I then ordered it in the 7. They are over the moon excited they can play ball indoors not bothering anyone with the bouncing noise. Perfect size balls for the rainy days. Easy process and it arrives promptly. You want to order this. Well priced and fun for all.

Kids love this!
I wasn't even sure it would work. And I wasn't happy about paying 40 dollars for it; in all honesty, I was thinking I was just going to return it as soon as I tried it out. This thing is impressive! Does it act 100% like a basketball? No. But it's really close - like 80/90% like the real thing - very close for what it does. It's really quiet. I teach art at a local middle school - the kids are very athletic and love playing games. This is such a big win for the classroom - they're already obsessed with this thing; they all plan on buying their own too for at home. It's safe - won't break anything - most likely - won't hurt anyone - very soft - still has enough weight to be thrown slightly hard. I'm very impressed. Actually, whoever delivered it - looks like they opened it and maybe even tried it out; the package was totally opened on my deck when I got home - which is whatever - product isn't damaged. They probably couldn't believe it for themselves! I'll be sure to check my ring cameras! lolI just wish it was a tad bit cheaper, because I'd order 100 if I could - my students can't get enough of this thing - I just ordered my second one. Heck, even the staff are coming into my art-room to play with the thing. It's a very good way to relax and relieve stress. 9/9/2024 - Mark my words though, I guarantee someone is going to bite it or destroy it or vandalize it somehow - right? I'll let you know in June 2026 - maybe - we'll see. Got a lot going on with our "election" - seems like a dirty word - right? lol I got you though; It'll be a fun little project to document.

Nice quality and quiet!
It is nice to have a basketball that is silent when bounced inside the house. It's not going to bounce as well as a real basketball but it is useful for practicing dribbling skills if you have to be inside the house. Don't let your dog get a hold of it, unless you want a bite taken out of it.

Worth it for inside the house
Overall, definitely worth it. My son is getting borderline obsessively annoying about getting better at basketball, and he uses this daily. Definitely quieter than a normal ball, and the peace of mind I have that he's less likely to break something or knock over the toddler while dribbling around is priceless. The bounce isn't perfect though; it doesn't bounce back as high as a normal ball would. However, I would rather he practice with this than those plastic balls from those indoor toy basketball sets because it's the size of a normal ball (quieter than those plastic balls too).

Perfect for hoopers working on their bag
I wanted to learn how to handle a ball but was too self conscious to go to a court. Having a silent ball like this really helped me improve my ball handling skill before getting out there.Even now its a great help for when it's too rainy or cold I can work on handles in my apartment whenever I want. The ball is of good quality and has a decent grip. It isn't as bouncy as a real ball but one will get used to that quickly. It pretty much has the size, shape and weight of a real ball just not the bounce. Must get for hoopets trying to improve.

Wow, exceeds expectations.
We've tried several variations of "silent indoor basketballs" and this is by FAR the best. The things that separate it are:1. Bounce trueness. It bounces off the floor in a far more consistent manner than most other similar balls. The biggest challenge in manufacturing these seems to be to make the injection molding port as minimally disruptive to the bounce as possible. Perhaps keeping a uniform density and mass throughout the ball as well. Most other similar balls are almost impossible to dribble without looking at the ball because it just bounces all over the place. This one is about 3/4 of the way toward the trueness of a real basketball vs. competing products.2. The seams. They did an amazing job burning in a seam pattern into the ball, just like a real basketball. You can feel these with your fingertips, including the small indentations. Many/most competing products just draw seam lines onto the ball but don't have any contours like this one.3. The color. This is colored more like a high quality leather basketball. Most competing products are either bright orange like a cheap rubber ball, or just some other artificial color like black or blue. We've had this for about 2 months and it has stood up to a basketball-obsessed 9 year hold dribbling all over the house, on hardwood, tile, and carpeted/rugged floors. It's still in nearly original condition, minus a minor scratch you can barely see and a microscopic amount of carpet fibers that cling to the ball.If you've never used these, they're all basically high density NERF-style balls with a treated surface to feel and appear close to perfectly smooth.Highly recommended.

Not durable.
It was great when I first used it around the house, but I just wished it was more durable. I picked this product over many of the cheaper versions thinking that it would last longer. After just 1 month of use, I noticed that the surface was starting to degrade. And after 2 months of use on hardwood floors and ceramic titles, the foam material is starting to breakdown and shed. It's actually leaving a trail of foam dust as it is being bounced around the house. I don't know if this is just a defect, but I can't return this product now over the 30 day return window.
