I recently bought an Asus F17 (2024) gaming laptop. The price was right when on sale since you needed to upgrade some components on it. It only came with 16gigs of RAM which is low by today's standards.I wanted to upgrade to a 32 gig kit but then found that there wasn't much of a stretch going to a 64 gig configuration. The web specs for this particular laptop are a bit misleading as some state it's DDR4 while other areas state it's DDR5. (even based on the exact model number of FX707VU)I can confirm that it does use DDR5 and that the max supported RAM is 64 gigs. The speed of 5600mhz is also fully supported in this laptop. I would recommend maybe adding a bit of heat dissipation strips to them though as they don't come with anything.It installed easily but when I booted up for the first time, I was presented with nothing but a black screen. Power cycling did nothing either. I let this sit for quite some time before I was about to take it all back apart thinking it was not compatible. (there were no beeps or warnings)Just as I was about to get up to get my tools again, the Asus logo finally showed up on the screen. We're talking a good 10 minutes easily. I was happy to see it boot up but also concerned as this was not normal behavior. I checked the system stats and everything was reading good. I ran a few memory tests and those came back fine as well. After a reboot, things were now back to normal. I'm not quite sure what the issue was here during the first boot. Usually a RAM upgrade works or doesn't but you know right away.I know that 64 gigs is way overkill, but I also felt for the extra couple of bucks that it was worth it to me. Performance didn't really change much but I do notice it if I have a game running and other stuff in the background. It doesn't bog anymore. My biggest bottleneck now is the CPU if do heavy multi-tasking.Overall, this is an easy upgrade for a decent price. Worked well, increased my performance in gaming for full speeds out of the ram stock just keep in mind having a web browser open with multiple tabs, a game, and voice chat while streaming was kinda pushing it's limits on windows 11 laptop was using 15.6/16gbs decided to upgrade to 32 and had double the head room for what I was using and no issues

Great price for a decent 16GB stick. SPD matches the stock Samsung that my lenovo shipped with and it seems to be working as advertised.

It required no manual configuration to get it running at the right speeds. It fit perfectly in my Lenovo LOQ. Has proven an immense value for money as I was upgrading from 8gb so this 32gb is like a dream. It is the difference between not being able to use chrome and play a game at the same time to being able to have 3 chrome windows open, running far cry 6 and Genshin impact all at the same time and still having more headroom to carry out a few renders in Daz3D in the background. Quality from team group has proven itself again for me. Bought their ddr4 kit in the past and it too worked like a charm. Well done, TeamGroup. You have made a happy customer out of me.
