My husband and I are amateur improvisers, and we are going on an old-fashioned driving vacation soon. We will use this book to practice our improv. While one of us is driving, the other will pick a character in one of the plays and read a line to the one that's driving. The driver must improvise a response to the line, and then the passenger will read the next line for his character, and so on to have lots of fun and keep alert while driving on long stretches of interstate.

not dated at all
I found 8 of these plays to be very suitable for an adult audience today. That's a really high ratio for play anthologies. I had only seen 2 of them in other anthologies. They're all well-crafted. Very good value for the money.

I failed to see anything funny in it. It was not worth the purchase. I wasted my time and money.
