I first found this seasoning at cost plus world market for around $7. I bought it there and tried it and fell in love! What I was looking for in a cajun seasoning: -no salt -a good mix of spice and herb -some heat but not a lot This hit all the marks and I ended up finding and buying it on Amazon for just over $4 a bottle so I got it for a better deal here too! This seasoning product on Amazon matches the one I bought in the store both label and flavor/content-wise. I love making this cajun seasoning rain on my fries and chicken strips! When I have my (home-cut, frozen) fries and chicken strips I usually have two separate ramekins with a bit of salt in one and ketchup in the other. It's delightful to eat it this way. The seasoning itself is fragrant with a good deal of warmth and nice flavor.

Enjoy the flavors of this spice mix. It's not too spicy and I use it on various food, including rice, mac & cheese, and potatoes. I've used Frontier for years and appreciate the flavor complexity of their mixes without tons of heat/hot spice. Bonus -> it's salt free, for those watching intake of sodium. I appreciate that.

I’ve been searching for a good salt free Cajun/Creole seasoning, and after trying everything available locally including all the standard grocery and even specialty store offerings, I like this one the best so far. I really appreciate that it doesn’t contain brown sugar which many of the others do (like Tony Chachere’s and Prudhomme’s), but I must admit I am a little on the fence with the inclusion of cumin although overall I am getting used to it and this blend does provide much of the flavors I’m searching for. That, plus the lack of heat, results in the four star rating for me. I continue to wonder why any of these companies famous for their Cajuns/creole seasonings can’t just sell their existing blend minus the salt! Oh well, I’ll keep trying new ones but in the meantime this one will suffice.

Because I'm from the South MS/LA area I'm a Cajun/Creole seasoning snob. This seasoning, however, is the bomb! I'm using it on everything and I need 10 more gallons! Cajun cooking doesn't mean hot it mean savory. The spice blend is perfect with just the right touch of heat
