These are extremely comfortable, and they do a fantastic job of blocking painful sounds. I work in an aerospace factory setting, and noise is a constant. I keep these clipped to my belt loop at all times. They are quick and easy to put in my ears when needed, and they're so comfortable that occasionally I'll forget that I'm wearing them. I have near-debilitating sensory issues with sound, so I have several different types of hearing protection. These are by far my favorite.
