Most of the 24 pairs I ordered a little over 3 years ago are still fine. I've lost maybe 3 pairs to small holes on the bottom.The BIG "but"...These socks get a LOT of abuse! It's not uncommon for me to walk around my home in stocking feet without shoes all day long.Before discovering these, I'd tried way too many other brands/models. Including from most of the major manufacturers. Most were uncomfortable. Not enough cotton content, or too tight.I'm 6'0", over 60, and weigh 255 lbs. Varicose veins in my lower legs, and problems with swelling feet. I say this to make a point: these socks are terrific. They're also a great value.Comments from other reviewers about them wearing out quickly are completely baffling. I only wash mine in warm water, never cold as recommended. And they've held up superbly.Highly recommended!(NOTE: I have no connection whatsoever with the vendor. No reward for posting, etc. etc.)

My husband wears a size 16 shoe. We decided to take a chance on these socks. The price was great, 12 pair came in the order and it appeared they would fit. And they did not disappoint!! Even after washing them in hot water and drying them fully in the dryer, they did not shrink plus they kept their shape! They are not "thin" and they are soft. I decided to weigh them in case anyone wanted to compare to their favorite pair of socks. On my food scale they weighed 2.70 ounces. Anyway, we were very pleased with this Amazon purchase!!

I solved the problem of cooled feet

These socks make for a great buy but they were just too thick for me. They are a little thicker than most dress socks. I needed a thinner sock to fit my particular work shoes - these were too tight a fit so I can't wear them. (Perhaps I can wear them with my winter boots). They are of a nice quality and the tops are light-weight enough not to bind or leave dents in your calves, yet they stay up nicely. So if you don't mind a thicker sock you will like these.

Been wearing them all day and no elastic closure indentation on my lower leg. Super!
