this product is a 5 star as I like the quality,looks,comfort,smell, weight and how it is eco friendly. Although they are great things it is about pricey but worth the money, the quality is good and didn’t take long to arrive it comes in a clear bag you can fold up after use.There is a variation of colours for your bedding but all the same comfort for your small animal. It exhorts most off the smell and urine that goes on to it and lasts me up to one-two weeks. My hamster loves to borrow and play around in the bedding as it is light! Also u get 3x as much bedding then it shows up in the packaging as it expands to triple the size to help store your bedding in a room warm area.Worth the money

Very soft and absorbent bedding, not 100% dust free but better than most beddings. It is great at holding my hamsters burrows. I would recommend this bedding.

The bedding is very absorbent, it holds burrow very well and my hamster feels very comfortable in the bedding.The only downside of this bedding was that I kept finding little pieces of stuff that shouldn’t belong in the bedding, so I kept having to pick things out of it.Another issue I had is that it’s quite dusty and it goes around. So I kept dusting with a micro fibre cloth my hamsters enclosure hideouts etc.The size is quite big. For a 100 x 50 x 50 tank. Two of these filled up to like 18cm? So I think 2 and a half would make it great to fill up!It doesn’t make the cage smell bad for me personally if you spot clean regularly and it’s easy to see where the hamster peed due to the white colour of the bedding having discoloured yellow parts that are soiled.I do recommend the bedding overall if you don’t mind the two downsides but if you have asthma I wouldn’t recommend it at all due to the dusty side of it.

Have had this before and found it to be very good, little dust & nice soft material. Seems quite expensive for what it is however, a little goes a long way as it's pretty much well compressed and won't be using all of it right away, since I 'd already topped up with other fresh, fawn colored substrate, this's more for bedding really. Used this bedding for 2 of my hamsters ive never had any issues with this bedding, it is soft comfortable and absorbantMy hamsters have never had a respatory infection or cough using this bedding at all this shows that the dust is minimal if any! Very good for rodents as theyre known to be sensitive to dustThis usually lasts a few months with my hamsters cages including spot cleans and their cage is large! (I use other substrate for enrichment so that saves some. By their cage i mean one moved in after the other passed away)The photo is my Barry having a lovely nap in his carrier while being cleaned out using the bedding for comfort(if you place a hamster in their carrier i suggest giving them some used bedding from their cage so they can smell themselves and feel safe)

I always have mixed feelings on Kaytee. This bedding is SO soft and perfect for a hamster cage, or even just a nesting area. However, each batch is different. Some come dust free, incredibly soft and brilliant quality. Others come with cardboard feeling pieces, loads of dust, chemical smells, etc. You just never know.
