Hi and no. "Gold Lust" is the name of the line not that it actually has gold in it. There are quite a few products in the Gold Lust line (e.g., oil, texturizing spray, hairspray, etc.). Smells great and works really well without leaving behind any whiteness or powered feel.

How do I get my travel size to spray??

Sounds like you need to return it because it is faulty. You just press on the top.
