Awesome screen and retro games. Only down side is that the cheap sd card lasted only weeks. Now I am not able to play any games. At least I can use the console as paper weight.

Right off the top, understand what you're getting here: This is a compact Linux computer running RetroArch emulating a number of old game systems and arcade machines. There is no way whatsoever that the manufacturer has licenses for the games included with it. If you're OK with that stipulation, read on...The screen on this unit is a real stand-out. the picture is clear, and the colors bright. Audio is decent, either from the built-in speaker or via headphones. The multiple trigger controls on the rear can be a bit tricky to distinguish in the middle of frantic activity, but like all controllers, they become easier to use with practice. Battery life seems decent.I would highly encourage spending some time reading up on the internet and learning how to configure things. The index offers multiple options, some of which are much more attractive and useable than the default. Most games will either not work, or work poorly with the default controller configuration, so be prepared to spend a little time finding your favorite games, pinning them to the beginning of the list, and then tuning the controls to your preference.The emulators for the higher-tier consoles just won't run without some lag, which isn't terribly surprising, but a bit disappointing. There's definitely room for improvement in future models, but for most things, it works really well.If you want a decent handheld device that emulates a lot of nostalgia-inducing games, you could definitely do worse than this.
