Easy to install. Looks beautiful.
I was afraid that this product wouldn’t work on such a difficult area to cut to, but it is honestly relatively easy and turned out better than expected. It only took me about 20 minutes to install. It helps to keep our house more private at night without sacrificing the daylight from the door during the day. Plus, it’s pretty. :) Make sure you use a sharp razor blade when trimming to size and follow the directions, and you should be fine. It’s not a sticky back product. It’s just a vinyl window cling, so it’s pretty easy to work with and pretty forgiving if you need to readjust the position. I would definitely do it again if I had another area that it would be useful.

Great for privacy
Easy to put on and it looks good. I like that light comes through easily but it filters enough that people can’t see much more than blurry moving colors. I chose the prism pattern and it’s beautiful.NOTE: be sure to have a squeegee to use when applying otherwise you won’t get all the bubbles out. A plastic or silicone spatula will work as well.

Beautiful window decoration
If you’re thinking about adding some window decoration and enhancing your privacy then you can’t go wrong with this film. The final result looks great!Stuff you’ll need:Craft cutting matMetal straight edge that’s a meter or yard long.A sharpie marker, fine.X-acto knifeA razer craft cutter is also handy for straight cuts. Helpful but not necessary.Single sided razer scraperWindow squeegee for cleaning (optional but helpful)Window film squeegee (CARTINTS 4Inch Plastic Squeegee...)https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07K554B5V?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_shareSmall measuring tape. Milwaukee makes a decent small measuring tape that’s not too expensive. It comes in handy more than you think.Spray bottle for windexSpray bottle for soap solutionBaby shampoo to make a soap solution. A clear dish soap will work I’m told but I haven’t tried it.You’ll need to prepare a table to cut the film to size so if you have one of those craft mats, a straight edge, and a razor cutter you will get the best results. Yes, you can use shears/fabric scissors but your edge won’t be as straight.Measure exactly, write it down, mark the film on the side with the release sheet, cut.It sounds easy but it’s harder than it looks at first.Application: get out the windex, a squeegee, microfiber towels, also a single sided razer scraper is a must. Spray on the windex and scrape all the dirt and film and other nastyness off your window. Might want to consider rolling up an old towel at the base of the window frame and one on the floor. It’ll save you cleanup time later, trust me.Order a window film installation squeegee with a felt edge, it’s worth it and they’re cheap at $4 or so. It’ll make applying the film a breeze. Actually I don’t know how you’d install it otherwise. Order one with your film. Some of these window films on sale have installation videos in the photos gallery. It is worth the time to view them or check on YouTube under installing window film at home.Prepare a solution of baby shampoo and water in a spray bottle. You don’t need a lot of shampoo, just a squirt will do for a standard spray bottle.Once your window is clean, peel off the backing plastic on your window film and spray your soap solution liberally on the film side that’s going on the window AND the window. If you think it’s too much it’s probably just enough. The film needs to be able to “float” on the solution in order to place it correctly. I started by placing it in the top left corner and aligning the left side of my sheet.Use the film squeegee to squeeze the water off the film using the felt side. A microfiber towel comes in handy here.Once you get to the other side of the film, you’re going to want to use the hard plastic side of your film squeegee to press the film into the sides of the window. Use the plastic edge and an X-acto knife to trim the film to the window. I tried using a straight single edge razer which resulted in torn film. Trust me, use an x-acto knife with the plastic squeegee as a guide. I got great results with this combo.Once the film has dried you can give it a quick cleaning with windex for best results. The results were spectacular! Really beautiful pattern like a stained glass window, UV protection (all films reduce UV to some degree), and having some kind of window film is better than none for safety concerns (although this isn’t security film.)This is a great product and I’d definitely buy it again. Excellent quality, not so easy installation but do-able for someone who’s crafty and has patience. Don’t rush, you’ll be fine.

Better than tinting on my car
I have turned my RAV4 into a little RV. As such, I don't want people to be able to simply peer into the back. First attempt, like other car campers, I tried the reflective sheeting. But it has it's drawbacks. If you don't have the fit PERFECT, the material can just fall out of the window. It doesn't look nice, and it made the car's interior too dark. Plus, I have to find a place to put them when I want to open up. You can't roll the window up and down with them.Second attempt was curtains. Hard to hang, too much to deal with, always in the way, never fully covers the window. I can go on.Then I saw this stuff on a friend's car. She had put it up on the sunroof. You know where I'm going with this. Long story short, I put this on the windows that I never use. The one right behind the driver, and the tiny little triangular ones that don't really serve a purpose in the back. Now, there's plenty of light coming in and the prism effect looks amazing! No, I can't see through it, but neither can you. I left a tiny sliver of the window uncovered, so I can actually peek outside. From the outside, you can see movement going on in the interior, but that's all. I feel very comfortable changing clothes or whatever, knowing that there's no way I can be seen. I can still use the window and roll it up and down since the material is thin enough to not hang up in the track. But now comes the bad news. This stuff doesn't stick as good as you would like. The edges are very difficult to adhere, and after just a day or two it has already started to curl. It took at least a half hour to get the window covered, with most of the time spent trying to get the edges flat against the glass. I cheated somewhat and got a few of the edges to stay down with invisible tape. A little bit of careful trimming and the tape is unseen and doesn't impede the use of the window. So far I've had this on for about a month. The parts that didn't stick at the beginning don't seem to be getting any worse. It's actually sticking very well. I only wish the edges were as adhesive. It's been over 100 degrees in the car, as well as getting down into the single digits, and the film is still exactly the same as the day it was installed. If only the edges would stick...

Perfect!
I wasn't sure I could put it on my windows by myself, but it was so easy! Make sure you have a sharp knife or razor to trim. It was thicker than I expected, which for me was a plus. I also LOVE the rainbows on my walls when the sun hits these windows. Exactly the effect I was hoping for. Good quality. Easy to install. Beautiful results.

Great product
It's exactly as described! Easy to install. Looks very nice and gives us the privacy that we needed from outside. Not too sure about helping cold out tho. But that wasn't our purpose.

Perfect
We are so happy with this. It was not terrible to apply but did require two people. It has held very well over the last couple of months. It looks exactly like all of the pictures I have seen on both the listing and the other reviews. When the sun is shining through the window we get lots of colour and rainbow, it's just beautiful! When the sun is on the other side of the house or it is overcast, it is mostly clear with a small amount of colour on the window but it does not make rainbows in the room. It gives us enough privacy on the upper floors from the parking lot below, but the closer you are to it the more you can see. Many of the neighbours in our complex have asked about getting it for themselves. I was very happy with the packaging as well! The roll came inside a reusable tube, so the remainder of the roll is stored away safe and sound inside its tube. When we move and have new windows to cover I will certainly be buying more of this! **Update** It has been almost 2 years since we put it onto our windows and it is still holding up perfectly. We have never had to reposition or replace it!!

Beautiful effect
I love this screening so much I cannot believe this stunning effect line the Northern lights or my own rainbow when the sunshine's through the treated panels on the front door. It was easy to put up following the clear instructions and is much admired .At night the door has a jeweled effect when the internal hall light reflects from it which is very pretty I am delighted with this purchase it is breathtaking with sunrises and sunny days what a find .

Bezauberndes Luchtfeuerwerk
Siehe Foto! Anbringung ging echt leichter als gedacht. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
