Heightened experience and fun
Brilliant and additional suspense with the electronic sounds and commands. It actually slows the game down a little as takes a little whilst to set up and input your ships etc but it does add a little more fun when you hit it so o a ship. Had better build and storage than previous models so upgrade in all areas apart from set up speed. Also has advanced game mode with extra fire power and rules for a different style game. BUT hearing that explosion as you hit an opponents ship does add value for money every time

It’s not just a board game. It’s a full-blown naval warzone with sound effects and glorious victory
Let me tell you something: I went into this thinking, “Oh, Electronic Battleship Reloaded? That’ll be a fun, nostalgic little throwback.” NOPE. This thing turns your kitchen table into the Pentagon, and you into a war-hardened admiral of vengeance and strategy. From the moment I turned it on and it made its first dramatic bleep-bloop, I knew I was in for more than a casual “you sunk my battleship.” This isn’t the board game from your childhood—this is Battleship 2.0: Revenge of the Plastic Navy. Let’s break this torpedo down: Electronic Lights and Sounds: When you press a button and hear a BOOM, it feels like you just launched a cruise missile with your finger. The lights flash, the sound explodes, and suddenly you’re not just playing a game—you’re defending freedom. Special Attacks: That’s right. Not only do you have to guess grid coordinates, but now you can unleash special attacks like you’re commanding a sci-fi war fleet. I used a “salvo strike” and my 10-year-old nephew gasped and whispered, “You monster.” I have never been prouder. 1-2 Players: You can play solo against the computer (yes, it has that), which is great because sometimes I need to assert dominance over inanimate objects. But with 2 players? Oh, the trash talk flows like the tide. My family hasn’t been this emotionally invested in anything since Game of Thrones. Ages 8 and Up: Don’t let that age rating fool you. This is an elite mind game. My niece (age 9) destroyed me with such efficiency, I briefly considered joining a support group for defeated uncles. Reloaded Design: This isn’t some flimsy fold-up board. It’s a sturdy, techno-throne of naval judgment. You don’t “sit” down to play Battleship Reloaded. You assume command. Setup: Yes, you will need to press some buttons and maybe skim the manual like you’re defusing a bomb. But once you’re in? Oh man. Pure, tactical bliss. Final Thoughts: This game made me feel things I haven’t felt since middle school dodgeball. Panic. Joy. Betrayal. Triumph. I’ve shouted “Direct Hit!” loud enough to scare the dog. I’ve fist-pumped over sinking a submarine. I’ve high-fived children like we just won an actual war. If you're looking for a game that lights up, makes noise, and turns family game night into a fully immersive naval battle simulation with shouting, laughter, and dramatic speeches—Hasbro’s Electronic Battleship Reloaded is the only vessel you need. Buy it. Play it. Command it. And may the sonar always be in your favor.

Family fun for sure!
myself, hubby and kids over this version of Battleship. It is kind of loud...but fun! It is travel size, but it would be nice if it came with a bag to keep it in for travel. Kind of awkward once you open it and put the stuff together. Fun game!
