I am very impressed by this product, I had a thorn go through my tyre and inner tube, it leaked air for a few seconds and when I pumped it up the leak stopped and the tube stayed inflated ever since. These inner tubes work really well, excellent product.

Brilliant at vasty reducing traditional puncture repairs, usually thorns and the like and this is what they are really designed for. If your bombing around a bike park asking for a pinch flat or slash on a sharp rock then no these wont solve that problem, but then again a traditional tube would require a certain amount of inconvenience to replace it on the trail.I can say however, from a recent trip to Bike Park Wales they performed exceptionally well, no issues at all.This is a repeat purchase as the slime does have a finite life, i can say does exceed the manufactures claim by some considerable margin, but if you like peace of mind, change them when recommended.Puncture repair as follows:Find thorn, or whatever caused the puncture,pull it out, spin the tyre gently to get the slime to the hole, re-inflate. Simples.

I have used slime tubes a number of times and thus far I have never had any cause to criticise there ability to resist punctures. I’ve just not had any whilst using them. That said they are heavy and if you are looking for speed best avoid these. Also I find that on initial fitting, you need to be quite precise as to the required tyre pressure you desire. As any adjustment thereafter will result in slime clogging the valves.

Good value and easy to use and fit.

Haven't put any stars for durability as they've only been on the bike fore a couple of weeks so I'll tell you more in few years time. As an aside they pumped up very well and very hard with just a hand pump. Quite impressive.

Disappointed with the performance.Tyre suffered an abrasion on the side wall that resulted in a puncture of probably 1mm. Slime did not seal, I had to repair with standard patch & rubber cement. We have used Slime tubes before and have been pleased with their performance. Was there enough product in the tube?

Easy to fit no problems at all and since fitting have not had to top up the tyre pressures. My first experience with slime tubes was mountain biking in Saudi Arabia, I was getting numerous punctures on a ride with my friend who was puncture free, he then told me he was using slime tubes, that was twenty years ago. I recommended these to a work mate who was getting regular punctures on his commute to work, he fitted some and no more punctures.
