Wow, just wow!
I was trying to come up with a good title for this review and this is all I can come up with. I got my 2010 Harley Ultra Classic and the stereo was all stock, it sounded terrible so I got the Rockford head unit and the $400 speakers, it sounded better but not amazing. I added the Rockford 1500x5 amp and quickly killed the Rockford speakers but I expected that since it was twice what they were rated for. I installed some Boston neo speakers rated to stand up to the power and they did but the sound wasn't what I expected. I finally upgraded to these DS18 speakers, I wasn't expecting much of an upgrade. First they didn't fit under my fairing and I almost pulled them and put the Bostons back in but decided to listen to them first and 5 seconds in I knew they they HAD to stay in! Wow, they changed my entire system! They're louder and more clear at 15 than the others were at 30, no more distortion or garage sound! I ride with my helmet and didn't realize how bad the others sounded at first, these sound incredible! The build quality is great, they're heavy and solid, far beyond the Rockford pair that cost more than twice the price of two of these. 100% I'm hooked and will upgrade to these from now on, you won't go wrong with DS18!

Sound great.
Installed these in my 2016 road glide saddlebag lids. I have the precision power cut in 6x9 speaker kit. Had to trim these speakers slightly too fit but wow. They sound great. They sound better than the hertz sx-690neos I had on the bike. These play louder, more bass, more treble than the hertz sx690. I'm running them at 300rms each Highpassed at 80hz and they take every bit of the power no issue and sound great doing it.

Awesome speaker incredibly loud
These rock!! Great range, clear sound and super loud. Loud as you want to turn them up. I run them with the ds18 amp 275watts Rms. Turn it up to at most 15/30. Almost too loud without hearing protection. Crystal clear can pick out every instrument and voice in the song.

Not made for car doors
I love the sound and build quality I purchased these for my front doors and the would not fit so I had to make some adjustments and I’m 100% satisfied with them I was gonna get some tweeters but they are not needed I paired them with the DS18 Pro ZXI6 and powered them with Down4Sound MM1004
