A SOLID NON-RECOMMEND!
This hose worked at my first two campsites. However, sometime during the move to the third campsite it developed a small leak in one end in the crimped metal hose fitting itself. This was only a small and slow dripping leak, but because of below freezing weather it created a huge problem by the time I noticed it. This was due to a defect in the hose end, either in the design itself or the way it was constructed, and it was absolutely non-serviceable.I attempted to return it to the seller, J.HAWK LLC, they did not respond. By the time I tried again to contact them the return window was closed.I had to give up and throw this hose in the trash less than 3 months after purchasing it. That was a $175 mistake!Do NOT buy from J.HAWK LLC.If you choose to not follow my advice and decide to buy one of these, then purchase only from Amazon and not a third party seller.Another problem with this hose is that it is nearly impossible to work with when it is cold. Expect it to NOT completely uncoil and be nearly impossible to get it to lay where you need it to when cold. In order to get it to do what you want, you will have to warm it up inside and then lay it out where you need it to go before it gets cold and inflexible. This is not a big deal when it's new, however it can become a very unpleasant and messy endeavor if there is any water left in the hose or if it has ice and frozen ground debris caked to the outside of it.The only use I can think of for this product is if you plan to remain in a sedentary location long-term and not have to regularly unhook or move it. Any time you unhook, re-hookup and relocate, the risk for developing a leak at one of the metal fittings goes up.I would recommend getting a simple hose and using heater tape with foam AC line insulators. That solution may not seem attractive for the uninitiated or inexperienced, but it is MUCH cheaper, more versatile and not as difficult as you may believe. Zero-G is one brand I would recommend.Happy camping!

fantastic
We use this in the barn to give water to the animals. It gets down below 0 here during the winter, so a regular hose definitely doesn't cut it, and I got super sick of lugging 5 gal buckets of water from stall to stall. This hose alleviates that issue, and works fantastically so far.

Only lasted two months and Amazon REFUSED to replace.
I purchased this 50-foot heated hose in the middle of October 2021 and put it into service sometime in November. It is now Jan 2, 2022. The heated hose has FAILED and my water has frozen. The heating cable is just barely warm to the touch. That means I paid $100 a month to use this hose. Not a good value in my opinion.I contacted Amazon about this failure since it was still under their return and replacement period. Amazon REFUSED to replace the malfunctioning hose. Said that I could return it, they would refund the money once they got it, and then I could use that money to buy another one. Meanwhile, it is currently 12 degrees F outside and my RV isn't hooked up to water. Thankfully, I had some water in my fresh tank. With their way of doing things, it could be two weeks before I am able to have running water to our home. Not acceptable.I have the return label, but at this point, I feel like I am going to get screwed either by Amazon or the seller. Not only will I be out my $200 for the hose, but I also won't have the actual hose part that I can do something with. Like I said.... it does get a little warm to the touch, but it doesn't get hot enough anymore to keep the water flowing.I found a local store that has a 30-foot heat cable. I plan on cannibalizing this hose. I'll cut this 50-footer down into two 25-footers. Rip the useless heat cable off this one and replace it with the new heat cable from the local store. Unfortunately, I'll be out another hundred bucks to repair what has failed after two months. Best of all, I'll have water back flowing in a day and I won't have to deal with Amazon.

Great Product
Easy to install, works great! I love the way the water tastes. My husband doesn't care for it much, but he isn't much of a water drinker anyway! :) This is the second hose purchased from them. We bought a bigger RV and the other hose was to short. When it came time to order again, I didn't hesitate ordering from Camco a second time.

Water available on frigid days for animals!
We have been using it in the horse barns for a month twice a day from 20 degrees to 6 degrees without any problems. It always has provided water even in -2 wind chills.

Worked great in sub-freezing temps
Bought this for my daughter when her trailer needed some extras during the winter in Denver. Such an inexpensive item for so providing so vital a service.

It lived through winter of 2020!
Didn't have any problems with mine but we don't usually have long cold snaps in Southern Tennessee.

Did what it was supposed to do and kept the water thawed
Overall it did a good job of keeping the hose from freezing. It's very stiff so I recommend not installing this when it's freezing outside as it will be hard to uncoil. I would recommend it.
