Tandy Leather Line 24 Snaps Antique Copper Plate 10/pk 1263-06

I had to try these Tandy snaps because of my frustration with the snaps I had been buying. Although these are made in China like all the others I have been using lately, they are much higher in quality. The cost a bit more but at least you know they will stay on and you won't go through 2 or 3 before you find one that isn't faulty. Obviously the distributor or whoever is in charge of product quality has a whole set of quality requirements that far surpass the QC criteria on the mass produced junk snaps being sold on line. I will be keeping Tandy as my go to source for snaps. I will be comparing some of their other hardware, tools, etc in the near future.

Perfect sizes

I’ve used these before on different leather projects including holsters and have never had any problems with them.

I make holsters, gun belts, wrist bands, dress belts and I use these snaps all the time.The antique finish works great with what ever I make, I always receive myorder promptly. The pieces have a snug fit which means the pieces will notseparate after installation.I recently had a problem with my order and I contacted the seller by email,I was amazed by the fast response and the way the problem was handled,you can't find anyone better to work with.

The label on the package, is the color snap I ordered, as you can see in the photo, the product does not match the label. Polished brass is not Antique Copper. They also do not match any other TANDY snap in my leather shop. I wanted to try ordering these due to their price. Next time I'll order directly from Tandy. I have another set of these, I ordered 2, coming tomorrow. We'll see if they are the correct snap. The only thing, so far, that is as advertised, they are line 24 posts. I ordered from Tandy 30 or so days ago, the packaging is not even similar. Maybe Tandy switched suppliers, maybe I didn't receive Tandy brand snaps as advertised. I certainly did not receive what I ordered. I will not be ordering these again. The only thing I can comment on as for quality, a lot of the reviews on here state, they can't get them snapped. I did not have an issue with them snapping. In my experience, a tough snap will be a working snap when it gets broken in, and an easy snap will be a broken snap in the same amount of time. I haven't had these long enough to know if that will be the case. I'm not a brand snob, I absolutely would have used these if they had been the correct color, and matched the rest of the hardware on my project. If this had been for an order, I provide a full guarantee on my leather goods, and quality assurance is a huge part of that guarantee. This particular item does not match packaging, thickness, or weight of other Tandy snaps in my shop. I guess time will tell if these snaps are worth the risk at this price, I'll put them on my own goods, but with the red flags thus far, I won't be putting them on my orders, or ordering them again.
