Broken On Arrival
Reveived this a few days ago for my sons birthday, opened the box for him and the tail fell out, having been snapped off at some point prior to delivery. Judging by the good parcel packaging it was not done in transit, so not sure how long these have been sitting somewhere but seem a bit flimsy. Good detail and my son loved it onced I'd had the super glue out lol.

Great Quality
Well being an Alien buff i love this product, not to play with but to put it on the side where i can put it into a pose and admire it, it's currently holding my phone in an upright position and looks very happy with himself.Cool toy i wouldn't give it to kids, wouldn't want them to break it.

AVP Alien Warrior is good for collection purposes
A fine sculpted figure with movable limbs and joints. However it seemed a bit fragile to me, which means it is not suitable for a child's play - it will be broken in minutes. Rather good for collection purposes.

Get the original release, not the re-releases.
this is the first alien figure I ever bought and despite the movie being horrible, the alien figure itself is outstanding! the Alien has a double Ball-jointed neck, Double Ball-jointed waist, and ball-jointed hips. leading to the swivel joints you have the shoulders and upper to mid bicep, wrists, and upper thighs. then you have the hinges which are the jaw (no extending tongue unfortunately), elbows, knees, and ankles. the tail is also rubber, with a wire core allowing a wide range of posing options.now we got to the articulation, lets talk about the negatives shall we?First off, we have the stability issues. now this is prominent with all alien figures. due to their unusual proportions and spindly limbs, these figures tend to loose balance and fall over a lot without any form of support. this will lead to horrifically loosened joints and even broken parts. I recommend a doll display stand. or anything with a gripping arm or wire to hold the figure up like a Tamashii Display stand. There IS a display base included with the figure in package. however it does not help the figure to stand in my experience and just looks like a dumbbell surfboard to me. your better off using a base as I described above. Now we get to durability, which you need to pay attention to. keep in mind when the figure came out this guy was a tough S.O.B. and took a lot of abuse. and that's one thing I like about this figure. HOWEVER, in 2010 and 2011, NECA re-released these figures, which in aspect should sound awesome. at least I thought so until I bought one.2010 - 2011 Re-releases:WHAT HAPPENED!? these figures have serious Q.C. issues. the wire in the tail is flimsy and week, one I bought the wire wasn't even IN the tail instead it was sticking out of the rubber. the Plastic felt cheep and delicate, and would break at a drop of a hat. the construction is half-assed as well. One figure I bought had two left arms, one had deformed parts, and one didn't even have the entire tail. these figures were of course made in a Chinese factory that Thankfully NECA has switched away from. and now the figures are much better. unfortunately it is unknown if NECA will ever re-release this figure again.Final verdict:these figures are great for display, if you hate the movie but enjoyed the design then by all means get this figure, you won't be disappointed. however be sure you get the original released figures. there is an easy way to know which is which. the original released figures has a good paint job, but the re-released figures seem to have an unpainted clear/white jaw in the promo picture. you can also contact the seller to see which one it is and when it was released. but if your unable to get the original releases then pray you'll get a decent figure.

Worrier Rigged
This is the figure from the movie aliens vs predator requiem. The style is called Worrier Rigged but on the title they call it a Worrier which is not correct so. This is a great figure very well detailed and it is exactly like the Worrier Rigged aliens in AVPR. The jaws of the Xenomorph (ALIEN) can open and close. Its pretty cool so you could see the inside mouth. The slime on its mouth looks very realistic and it is just like the real aliens. It also comes with a stand that you can put on and take off. The tail has a bendable wire inside that you can't see so that you can bend the tail in any direction you want, the tail is also very long just like in the movies the figures tail is about a foot long. Overall this is a very good figure and i would highly recommend this to any Aliens Vs Predator figure collectors.

Stand back mcfarlane toys
This figure just arrived on my door step I opened it ASAP. I got this here on amazon for a cheap price but anyway I sadly missed out on these figures. When they came out so I am trying to get them now. I have the mcfarlane alien from alien resurrection and its articulation sucks but this avp requiem alien is the best alien I've purchased the articulation is the best the detail is awsome with the sculpt and paint the tail is so long on this figure especially if you compare it to the mcfarlane alien it comes with a muddy barbell like stand. This alien is bigger than I thought sadly though the packaging is clam shell so its hard to open. But I got it open and I love this figure I will try to review more aliens and predator items. But I have to go now PEACE!!

Awesome, AWESOME figure.
In short, I have to agree with the previous reviewer: this is quite possibly THE BEST "Alien" figure ever. The detail overall is jaw-dropping, though a tad bit underdone in a few spots. But what got me the most about this slimy fellow was the incredible posabilty. The head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, and legs fully rotate, while the knee and ankle areas can move up and down, though the latter are a bit sticky. If you can get a hold of this figure, I highly recommend it, and it's better to have around than NECA's own poorly-manufactured "Aliens" Warrior Alien or the highly fragile Cult Classics '79 Alien.NOTE: I didn't have to pay the ludicrous posted price for this guy; I just shopped around a bit more and found one that, with shipping, was around $20. Search around; you may get lucky, too.

AvP-R Alien Warrior by NECA
This is the first NECA figure I've ever purchased and I'm pleased to say that none of the wonky problems that have always led me to shy away from that companies figures are present in this one. No limbs or pieces fell off when I took it out of the package and inspected it, no heads or tails fell off when I put it on it's stand, and it even remained in one piece when I accidentally dropped it trying to put it on the top shelf so it seems a pretty durable one as well. Years since it came out I'm not really a fan of the movie but I do love me some Alien figures and this one had some really positive reviews and it was also one of the most fairly priced ones I've seen online so I picked it up and thought, well if it sucks I'll just leave it in the package and tuck it away until it raises a bit in value but when it arrived and I looked it over I just had to get it out and add it to the Alien horde on my shelf that's been growing since McFarlane's first Alien. What I have here is a very nice looking Alien sculpt supposedly based on the film Aliens Vs Predator-Requiem although the photography in that film was so dark you couldn't really make out any details of the Aliens whatsoever unless they were lying on the ground dissolving after being shredded by the films "SuperPred." It's standing between McFarlane's Alien: Resurrection warrior and the Dog Alien (Spike) from Alien 3. It's much more imposing looking, and fearsome than the other two while it's head sculpt isn't quite as sleek as Res and it's not as detailed as Spike it has a nice paint job and a very detailed sculpt, the articulation is nice and holds its shape well.Unlike the other two figures this guy can't stand without his stand so at least they thought enough about guys like me to include a stand for the figure, the stand is so basic it's almost generic not really much to say, you can pose the figure however you want and it snaps securely onto the stand and will stay that way.The mouth and tail are really the best bits of this figure though, the tail is a lot thicker than any other Alien figures tail I've seen, it looks a lot more lethal than any other Alien figures tail I've seen. They really took articulation to the max with this thing because it even has an articulated jaw that opens and shuts, the inner jaw or what is also known as the creatures "tongue" is present but doesn't move the jaw can be set wide open or shut all the way I think a lot of Alien toys, especially in the McFarlane line always gets sculpted with an open mouth to allow for a spring activated inner jaw which looks great on paper but when you have it standing on the shelf with a little thing sticking out of it's face, well you get the idea. I liked NECA's idea of giving the customer the option of which pose you wanted to choose right down to the position of the jaw.The one complaint I have is that the figure has these giant goofy looking hands that don't really look all that threatening just kinda cumbersome and disproportionate when the Alien is supposed to be all about sleek animal stealth and precision strikes and they give it these big clunky lady fingers. But that's not really the fault of the people who made this toy the blame for this falls solely on the film makers since this is a sculpt based off of their suit from the film.Anyways, you don't have to be a fan of the film to like this toy you just have to like the creature. It seems like a nice entry level figure for someone just starting a collection or just something for the casual fan to put on his or her shelf. It's a great looking toy I recommend it.(I would just like to point out that yes I am a total Alien geek so you don't have to inform me)

Alien never looked so good
This is a good buy. My little guy loves it!I always have second thoughts when I buy him an action figure especially when it's over $30. However, this toy is tough. Very durable. My little guy put it though the ropes and nothing fell off! I didn't know a action figure could twist and turn as much as this one did in the hands of a 7 year old!The figure looks good as well. Just like it does in the movies. Would make a great collectible but better than that it makes a great toy!Totally recommend.

Neca AVP warrior Alien
before buying this figure, i read how fragile this figure is. being a collector of other fragile toylines, i know not to rough handle this figure. that said, when i received this figure- i loved it. is a complex figure with a good amount of articulation. its a bigger figure than i expected. awesome everything. i recommend it.

Aliens from AVPR Action Figure
is a great figure, perfectly articulated, the level of detail is amazing, the tail is incredibly well to the model used in the movie, and has the right length ...if someone wants to have the model used in the movies, you can buy this figure. It comes with a base to hold it in place but may not be entirely necessary.

Bigger than expected
The actual figure is very large because of the tail and back appendages. But thankfully there is a little stand that attaches to the feet so the scale isnt a problem when it comes to posing the figure. As always, there are a few plastic defects because it is a NECA product. Don't get me wrong though, these are not major defects at all. I have many NECA products that i am extremely pleased with.

Fantastic Figure
bought this along with 3 NECA predator to do a sort of craft project. they are scaled right, the alien is fully pose-able and looks great in action sequences with the predators. i bought 2, the seller packaged them carefully and they were in mint packaging, good enough for collectors

Alien Requiem action figure
I looked forever for an alien to match my predator on my shelf. Alas I decided on this one. I got him 4 days after ordering (which really surprised me)I opened him up and got a good long look at him, and i liked what i saw. He is very detailed and has the exact color a xenomorph should have. The color allows him to turn invisible in the dark. The articulation is very good the only thing is his tail. too flexible in some parts not enough in others. I put him up on my shelf next to my Predator and something accrued to me that the makers got spot on... Aliens are a considerably taller than predators. Over all i thought it was a great toy.

The Kid Loves It!
This 9" alien figure met all expectations! Not only is it incredibly detailed but the articulation is fantastic. Sorry collectors ... this baby is getting manhandled on a daily basis. No shelf time here! So far so very good.

Alien Warrior
This is one of the best purchases I've made in recent history. It's staring at me as I write this review. It's just great. It's extremely detailed, very posable, and a ridiculous amount of fun. My only complaint is that when I recieved it, it had a piece of paint chipped off on it's neck. This left a little white spot, but luckily the color a regular pencil makes is the EXACT same color, so I filled it in and now I can't even find it. This is a great toy and I would recommend it to any AVP fan or any fan of good figures.
