I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO ALL THE BAD REVIEWS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I regret wasting over $100 for this Chinese knockoff, but I was hoping for the best. And the best, was far from what I received. Living off grid I was hoping that this machine would be a God send for our, heating needs, but it was NOT. The instructions are worthless, so you have to watch YT vids in order to find out how to operate the start up basics, and it goes down hill from there. It took about 30 mins to finally get it prime totally and then start. It ran good for about 6 hours and then the error codes started from there and have not stopped. My husband fixes multi-million dollar machines, yet this one can't stay running longer than 3 minutes without error code, after error code, after error code. If it is not the fan, it's the voltage, or the motor. We SHOULD NOT have to buy parts and rebuild a machine that is brand new regardless of where it comes from, but that is what you will have to do if you want this thing to work for more than a day or two. Why is such a simple machine not manufactured in the USA? Are we not capable of producing and selling such a simple heating machine? This VEVOR machine is complete TRASH and I would NOT RECOMMEND this to anyone. Keep your hard earned money in your pocket. I would like to get the authentic German heater, but I can't afford that one right now. We have to stop supporting these cheap, knock off producing countries and go back to USA made products. I guess that is wishful thinking . DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT AS YOU WILL BE SORRY VERY QUICKLY.

Instructions are garbage. Heater is good so far
I have this set up in tandem with a wood burning stove for when I'm not home to keep the house from freezing. Stays at 65°F in a 1,400sqft 2 level house fine. Granted it does take about an hour to achieve that. Could not recommend this as a whole home heating solution. Especially with the cost of fuel. However, it holds its value for an 8 hour heat source while I'm gone. Runs pretty quiet. The pump is probably the loudest part. Set up was physically easy. I have a fresh air intake for the stove that I tapped into. And have a 1" threaded plug in the side of the stove to run the heater exhaust through. This helps with heat efficiency by pulling cold air for burn, and capturing the exhaust heat through the woodstove chimney. The computer side of this however is a pain with the provided instructions. They only line up 50/50 to what each function actually does. And some just don't do anything. Had to look up a YT video for the Vevor 3 button diesel heater prime setup to get it up and running. Once I managed that, it has been running ok. I added a 10 micron in-line filter to the fuel line to help keep it clean. Will update if I run I to any huge issues.

Solid Heater
Got barrage of ads for this little beast on TicTok (like how did they know that I ran out of fire wood?). I wasn’t too sure about it but for such a reasonable price, I thought I would give it a go. Bought through Amazon because I wanted to ensure it would be returnable.I installed it in a 15x15 4-season porch which I use as an office in New England. Not much insulation so I needed something that would keep up with the heat loss without costing a mint.So far, so good. I am happy with it. I used an old PC power supply to give it the AC->DC (check YouTube for vids on how). I was able to drill holes in the floor to fit in-take and exhaust lines out with a hole saw and a drill.I got the 5kw and run it at max and it keeps me comfortable. I wish that I had gotten the 8kw just to have some extra capacity. So far I am using about a gallon of diesel a day.I put in a cheap CO meter just in case. It hasn’t been a problem. There was a little fuel smell at the beginning but it went away after a couple of days. The blower is aggressive but it is a pleasant rushing sound and does not impact video calls made from 5’ away. Not bad.Remote starter works well. I didn’t think I wanted one but it is nice to fire this thing up when I wake up and it is toasty by the time I am ready to work.Vevor has impressed me.

Good Heat
I bought a couple of these to heat greenhouses during the winter. They got their first real test and passed with flying colors. Setup was a bit challenging as intake and exhaust are on the bottom of the unit, but with a couple of 2x4 boards and some carriage bolts, I had a solution. For power I used an old car battery and an intelligent charger from Harbor Freight to maintain/provide the necessary power for fan and electronics. So far, it has only needed fuel added daily and a general check. I had to extend the exhaust pipe out under the greenhouse wall using some pipe, a coupler and some wire mesh as an insulator as the exhaust is still hot. I only wish there was a way to use more heat from the exhaust with some passive radiator like a heater core or something, making the system even more efficient. Overall I'm very pleased.

Hit or miss, both quality and customer service
When the unit works, it works rather well. However, my unit would turn off at random times. Could be 10min, could be over an hour. When it shutdown, the cool down mode would not run and it would not go through the normal shutdown process. This resulted in unburned fuel smoking heavily from the units exhaust. The controller display would flash code “025”, which customer service told me their techs have no knowledge or record of. I provided videos and photos of the code and the malfunction. Then customer service told me their was no issue, as I restarted the unit in the video I sent to avoid the unit burning up and possibly causing damage to my property. I had to explain to them again that it is necessary for me to babysit the unit, as it was very dangerous if it shut down and I did not immediately tend to it by restarting it. I used multiple, known working, power sources that I use with other heater units like this with no issues. They blamed me for exhaust setup which is the same way I’ve ran a half dozen of these kind of heaters with no issue. After more videos and pictures sent to customer service, with the exhaust positioned *Just* how they wanted it, I finally had to ask how the customer service could be so bad, with even the tech team having no idea what was happening. I asked for a new controller or possibly a different controller to use and see if it would operate. Customer service then sent me a new unit.I will update after I decide to setup the new unit and give it a try.
