** Update: second bottle was completely different consistency, very watery to the point you could pour it out of the bottle. When applied to hair, it felt like it just "went away." The first bottle was thick, like mayo, and really worked on wet hair. I'll buy a third bottle, but if it's watery like the second, I won't buy again. I bought the unscented version, and I'm happy to say it literally has no added fragrance. That seems obvious, but there are so many products that deceive you by being labelled 'organic' or 'natural' but still contain a mystery chemical 'fragrance' which usually smells like bad perfume. So this smells like, well, crushed plant leaves, or maybe nut oil. Not disagreeable at all. It is very noticeable when you smell it directly, but after the shower it basically has no detectable odor. You won't get those "your hair smells great" comments, but then again you won't get a headache (strong fragrances give me migraines). It works as well as a name brand conditioner. I have medium curly shoulder-blade length rock star hair (I'm a dude) and without conditioner I start to get massive knots that grow into what look like dreadlocks. This conditioner keeps my hair completely knot free, and way less frizzy. Also I appreciate the simple ingredients, lack of things like silicones, artifical colors, etc.

It cleans my hair without stripping it dry, and conditions without leaving that heavy, coated feeling. It just hits that sweet spot. My hair feels genuinely clean, soft, and balanced after every use. What really makes it stand out, though, is the ingredient list-nothing harsh, nothing toxic. Just solid, clean formulas that actually work. It's rare to find hair care that gets it this right. As long as the brand sticks to what they're doing and doesn't mess with the formula, I'll keep coming back for more.

I have Irish curls that are dry without a decent conditioner. That said. It is a stretch to call this a conditioner at all. It’s super thin, the thinnest I have ever encountered. I gave it a shot anyway. It never absorbed into my hair and even though I kept putting more on, it never felt like I had anything in my hair. So I went ahead and tried to comb it through my hair but nope. It was absolutely fruitless. I had to reach for my actual shea butter conditioner to get a comb through my hair. Do not buy this. It’s a big waste of money.

For the 1st time ever I can shave with my conditioner because it's fragrance free and doesn't sting, itch or burn like others. If you've never shaved with conditioner you've got to try it! You will get an extremely close shave and it's super inexpensive.
