use it for clipping my dogs nails
bought this back in January after someone suggested suspending my dog from a doorway chin up bar in a grooming hammock to clip her nails (she fights and screams and normally needs to be sedated). this worked perfectly for the dog (in case anyone else has an anxious dog to groom). the dog is 35 pounds - bar was perfectly sturdy, secure, and super duper easy to install. i am not at all handy, nor am i very smart - after a brief period of panic over not being able to figure out how to extend the bar, i decided to check out the instructions and after that, it took literally 2 minutes. the grippy things on the ends grab the door frame harder when there is weight on it. it says it can handle up to 440 pounds - so in theory, you could suspend a great dane from this thing.not sure if there was any damage to the paint in the door frame, didn’t care either - that house was a death trap, when i had the chance to make my escape, i took nothing with me, so i am about to buy another one for the same purpose at my new place 1200 miles away. maybe i’ll start doing some flex arm hangs from it too, what the heck. put this thing to work.

Sturdy
Brought it for my daughter who loves jumping and hanging which is recommended by my sister who is using it for her daughters. They loved it. Sometimes my husband also hangs on it. Very sturdy

Perfect for Home Workouts – Sturdy, Convenient, and Gym-Shy Friendly
I bought this pull-up bar because I’m gym-shy and wanted to explore new exercises in the comfort of my home. It turned out to be a fantastic purchase! Not only did it help me feel more confident trying different movements, but I also doubled the number of pull-ups I could do since getting it. The bar is sturdy, easy to install, and doesn’t damage the door frame or wall. I also love how simple it is to adjust its position. For the price, it’s an excellent investment for anyone looking to build strength at home.

Super Strong
Super strong. It's been mounted in the same doorway since I bought this in the winter of 2024 and it hasn't moved a bit. Works awesome as it should!

Pleased with the product but no the instructions
This chin-up bar seems to be an excellent product. I like the padded grip. It also seems strong and secure and fits my doorways fine. I did find that I had to use YouTube to watch an installation video. It is easy to install once you learn. The instructions that came with it were useless as they were written by someone who needs a lot of help understanding the English language. If they plan to sell these in the US then they should include useful, properly written instructions.

doesnt slip
so far, so good. I’ve had this for about a month now. it’s held my weight (140lbs) without issue. I change up the height of it often for different exercises. the built-in level comes in handy. it did make an impression in the paint after I initially hung it, so now i put thin carboard (think cereal box cardboard) between the feet and the wall. it still holds my weight, doesn’t slip, and doesn’t take off the paint.

I ended up on my back
The plastic pieces that come in contact with the frame come right out. There is nothing, not even glue, holding these in. This was properly installed and held up to light use for a couple of weeks. I only use it to hang for some shoulder therapy. Easing my weight on it to hang still caused it to fall and I ended up on the ground. Also, with most door frames you will have to crank this thing past the point of hearing the frame and molding crack for it to be anywhere near tight enough to consider it "installed".
