This was fun to play with. I have tried many toy drones in the past, and have always had an issue getting off the ground. I didn't have any problems with this one. It started flying right away, and stayed up with very little issues. The steering was a bit wobbly at the beginning, but I'm getting better at it. Wish the batteries lasted longer.

Makes a loud, annoying beeping sound the entire time you're using it. Once it lands you have to "recalibrate" almost every time to get it to launch again. Hard to steer.

This one is much more blocky. The buttons feel less quality than usual, and the joysticks are a little looser than I prefer. The size though is good and should work well for those with larger hand sizes.-I like the dual color of the LEDs between Green and Blue, but I thought it was an odd choice since the Propellers on this drone are a translucent orange. I figured there would be an LED color scheme that goes more in line with the natural colors of the drone.-This has the normal functions, Multi Speed (3 speeds), 3d Flipping, Rotation button, Headless mode..etc-PRO TIP: To remove the battery cover on the remote control, you need to press in the little black button with the included screwdriver, then slide the cover off.-I had decent fun with this drone. I found the performance to be as adequate as most tomzon drones. Pretty responsive and smooth even if I didn’t like the joysticks fully on the remote. Flies well overall.-However it IS pretty noisy for a small drone. It outputs a good amount of sound that is a lot more high pitch buzzing than some others. Like a very very loud swarm of bees lol. I’m assuming the rotation of the propellers is going decently fast for this size of the drone, but that probably does help with the responsiveness of the unit. The batteries are also very easy to change out and I like the square design of them. Allows you to get good leverage on the batteries. They also have 2 small tabs that make that process even easier. I think everyone will enjoy this drone if they want something, to begin with and play around with for the drone world.

In my opinion this is a Really Nice starter drone for either kids or adults. I got this to replace another drone and this TOMZON drone could literally fly circles around the old one. It is so easy to control this drone. It only took one batteries worth of charge to have the kids able to fly it on their own. The old drone performed so poorly they were never able to get it to fly long, it was even a challenge for me to keep it flying.I think this drone in an Excellent value and I'm really glad I got it. Highly recommended!

Very easy for kids to set up and go with it! The colors help find it at night if they fly it far from them. My little one can easily work it too. Its a good Drone!

I picked this up for my oldest nephew he’s very tech savvy. He absolutely loves this. Great value awesome quality great toy for older kids or adults

I love that the toy drones are all coming with altitude hold instead of direct throttle control; the current generation is so much easier to keep in the air than the first toys were. It makes them more accessible.I charged one battery for an hour and put some AAAs in the remote. It was easy to get it flying after that, but this drone has a constant turn in the yaw, making it really difficult to move without being an expert. I think I just need to calibrate it, but for now it's going back in the box, the kiddos can figure that out after they open it.The batteries click in and out and take a standard micro USB to charge, both of those points are great. They do not have a light that comes on to let you know they're plugged in, so that's a negative. They do get warm as they're charging, so at least you know it's plugged in. And when I came back it was cool, so I guess done charging.It's a little bigger than my other mini drone, a RiskOrb S3. Of the 2, I like the RiskOrb more, but if I can get the yaw control calibrated then it's just a size preference.The battery door is stupid hard to open, like a 3 handed operation. Hopefully it will get easier as we use it more, or I'll just saw off the tab that goes over the button.Edit 12/26/2023: daughter enjoyed it. The constant yaw offset is no longer there, I must've just been pressing the joystick when I turned on the remote. And the battery doesn't have a charge light, but the charging cable that came with the drone does. After those two concerns, this is a tie for me with the slightly smaller RiskOrb.
