Does what it is supposed to do
I bought this to insulate my exterior pipes for the winter. I have used it in the past. It works well as long as you cover it with something that is waterproof. It is very easy to work with, doesn't cause an itch like some insulation materials and holds up all winter long.

Great product to keep on hand. Easy to use.
Hard freezes make pipe protection a must. Keeping it on hand makes perfect sense.

Picture shoes foil backed but it isn't.

great for small gaps where cold air can come in
I use all the time in winter to seal up gaps in door jambs and windows. Had to order from Amazon because I couldn't find it at Home Depot.

It works as advertise and for the price I think it is an "ok buy".The yellow fiberglass is really thin (thickness of ca 3 credits cards). I used it over copper water pipes, double wrapping them. It is important to layer plastic sheets on top of wrapper (provided), for waterproof protection and full insulation.~~~*FPN:^ intended for cold and hot pipes in all seasons^^ made in USA

Good product
I used this insulation to wrap around a heat cable I installed on a baseboard pipe. Easy to work with.

Decent could of used backing on fiberglass

A mistake for me.
Thought this product had a plastic backing on it BUT they give you a piece of inch or strip of plastic to try & use afterwards.Would never had ordered this had I known this beforehand.

Handy little bag's.
Exactly as described... A handy little bagged roll for little job's... Good for simple pipe work and the odd hole/nook to fill/insulate.

You don't want this product.
What a pain. Having to wrap the pipe first and then once again with the flimsy plastic bags that aren't long enough. Ridiculous product.
