My 5 year old Lhasa Apso has been eating Tender and True since I switched her from puppy food. Just like us, doggie health can be affected by food and I wanted the best organic food, chemical free food I could find. She is very healthy and has done well on the food. The company is committed to quality ingredients and their customer service is fantastic! Highly recommend!

tried out tender and true because of their organic and antibiotic free line of canned and dry dog foods. all of our dogs love both the canned and dry formulas. we now feed them only dog food from this brand. dogs seem more energetic, healthy and happy. they did not have any problems with switching over to the tender and true dog food. this is the only brand of dog food we currently feed our dogs.

My dog loves it

Both my dogs love this food! Recently transitioned dogs from a grain free diet to this dog food and they haven't had an issue with it. I tried a chicken and oat dog food which worked well for one dog and made my other one violently ill, but luckily they are both doing well with this chicken and rice formula.

Our Thad is very picky and has a sensitive tummy. He will eat this and not have an upset tummy.

Was very excited to buy this - clean ingredients - but my dog literally runs out of the kitchen and up the stairs as soon as he smells this. I tried to convince myself he was just being stubborn but, after smelling it, the entire family agreed that it smells like fish oil (even cod liver oil)… a very strong odor which is overpowering and nasty. It would be better if they removed whatever is causing the offensive odor and taste. I’m sure it is something healthy but if the dog won’t eat the food because of it, what’s the point?? Have to give this to 2 thumbs down and I’m very disappointed because it was ridiculously expensive and there are no returns.

We have used Tender and True for quite a few years and have always had great results! Mabel and Chloe love all the products!! We use dry, canned and the treats!!I really love the high quality ingredients and the fact that they have so many certifications. I especially like the fact they are MSC and Gap certified!!
