Just so we are clear. You get two uses then it is a pay-per-use. MAKE SURE YOU MAKE ALL THE RIGHT CHOICES. If you make any mistakes - and I mean ANY - that counts as one of your two attempts. I did make a mistake (you have to choose between v1.1 and v1.2) I chose poorly. Then I re-did the procedure and it worked. But you must do it for all keys, including the one you already have. So I started with 1 working key and ended up with 1 working key. SO IT WAS USELESS. I contacted customer support who told me I was "stupid", they "would not give me another use" and "They have to make money too". I said I was going to write this review and they said "Sounds good - we don't care." DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME

Had trouble connecting to internet at first. But once it connected it worked perfectly for my 2020 toyota 4 runner venture. Easy to use! Better than spending tons of money at the dealership for a new key. Good value. Very durable. Works great! Very compatible.

Came in a sealed plastic, looked brand new and clean. Still couldn’t use it. Used the app to pair it to Bluetooth but once it pairs and I select the “Begin Programming “ it gives me an error saying the dongle is registered to someone already. Customer service taking long to sort it out.

Despite lack of instructions on the website I decided to give this a try. After connecting the dongle to my car and following the instructions on the app I had my new key fob working in around 15 minutes!Once you enter all the info in the app it will start programming and will show a static message to wait while programming is carried out. I was worried that the app got stuck, but after around 12-15 minutes it changed to a new screen with additional instructions.I followed the instructions (turning ignition off and keeping the fob near the gear shift, leave old key fob far away), but after a couple of minutes I got an error message that programming had failed. I started the process again, this time the first 15 minutes was skipped, but I ended up getting the same error message.However, to my surprise the new key fob was working!!!At the end it did the job, much cheaper than the $199 that many companies charge you. But they really need to improve the user experience.

This code reader worked great on the Fob I needed for my Pruis. It was easy to use and simple to work.

Wouldn't work for my nissan rogue. Called the company and was told it could damage my car so that none of my key fobs would work. So my car would be immobilized. Don't wast your money.

I could not get it to work, at first i thought it was working and after about 30 minutes it kep stating that it was unable to communicate and to try again later. Amazon is sending me another one try it. I did have a perfect cell signal and was also using my home wifi.

I am sure it works just fine but does not work on Nissans,after I plugged it in and when the car list comes on there’s no choice for Nissans
