2 locks would open with any of the keys. Was told I would need the number of the locks- that was on the box they came in to get replacement. Check all the locks BEFORE throwing out the packaging.

These are a fantastic LOW SECURITY option for locking sheds, chicken coops, pigeon lofts, crawl-spaces, storage lockers and the like--- fantastic for small farms, homesteads, and rural-residential applications. These are Masterlock knock-off paddies which look the part, and (as described) are keyed alike. My shipment came with 12 identical padlocks, and 3 pairs (x6 total) keys-- all keys seem to pair to all locks, and it fits together great. This is NOT high security -- the locks themselves are easily picked by anyone with tools, and can be bypassed with bolt cutters easily -- but that isn't their point. These are convenience and deterrence locks: they keep your sheds, storage, and livestock pens all padlocked with the convenience of a single key shape, so there's no fumbling around for "the right key" in the wind, rain, or snow. Great for gates, fences, pool areas, and similar. VERY happy with the set, and replacing a number of different keyed padlocks on the property now: I'm not worried about anyone stealing my chickens or my garden shovel, so I don't need to have different keys for those spaces! 10/10 would recommend.

I ordered these locks to replace some old locks which are becoming rusty and difficult to lock and unlock. between gates, trailers, sheds and garage doors I use 10 locks and have to carry three keys on my keyring to unlock them all. These locks will allow me to use a single key instead of three different keys and I'll have five spare keys if I ever need them.These locks are every bit as good as the locks I can get at the local hardware store but I have never seen a set of 12 locks keyed alike at the store (which is why I had 3 different keys). No more fumbling through the keys to find the right key for each lock.The locks lock and unlock easily and each key works on all 12 locks. What a great deal for a little over $3 each!

Ordered these because they were yellow. Got black. They do the job.

The HOX Locks 12-Pack Keyed-Alike Padlocks w/ 1.2” Shackle, 1-9/16” Wide Body, Hardened Steel Case Shackle Padlock, Brass Cylinder - for Hasp Latch, Sheds, Fences, Storage Locker arrived and were just as described. The only potentially negative aspect would possibly be the cheaply made keys... But at least six keys are included in the 12-pack so one can rely on the extras to replace a defective key... 5 times... :-) The locks themselves appear to be very solid and robust in nature. Am not going to try and cut through one because I have put all of them to use! If I could give 4.5 stars I would to reflect the perceived key "issue"... but, cannot... so 5 stars and recommended! Very decent locks for the money!

Padlocks are sold and work well.

These locks work, but only just. After lots of lubricant, the action is still not as smooth as it could be. Closing the locks requires the key!
