It works! I like that the fabric is very soft and velvety. I have a 13" neck and got the Medium sized one, and it's plenty large enough. It came with a silky "sleeve" as an option to the velvety fabric it's made of, but I'm not using the sleeve. I have it arranged so it is not snug, to allow air flow. You don't need to wear it tight around your neck, and if you do, you probably won't enjoy it. It lifts my chin, as a reminder not to bend my head over to read the screen on my laptop, and that is the main benefit. I got the dark blue one, and it sort of looks like a scarf around my neck, but I'm not going to wear it in public, just when I'm working on the computer. The price is right, and it works for me?

I suffer from cervical nerve root disorder, narrowing of cervical spine, and cervical disc degeneration that causes a lot of pain. My physician recommended I use one in the evenings for pain relief and support. I did my research and read a lot of reviews on a lot of different braces. This design is great. Make sure to measure your neck and use the chart before you order. Mine fits perfectly. It is just the right height for me to rest my chin on it. It is thick, but not too thick that it’s uncomfortable. The fabric feels great on my sensitive skin. The Velcro keeps it in place when I move around.

I have spondylolisthesis in my neck and wanted a brace that would prevent me from unconsciously bending my neck forward or backward too much. I use it mainly for sleeping at night and now I can lay my head ony pillow without pain in my neck or arms, or numbness in my hands. It's extremely comfortable to sleep with. I also use it during the day at times when I'm doing an activity that will cause me to move my neck too much. When I forget to wear it, I pay the price. It's way more helpful than I expected. Great purchase.

I ordered this neck brace in November, tossed it aside and this past week had a 3 level cervical fusion / disc replacement.I have done OK. But the soft collar they sent me home with was extremely irritating and my head just wasn’t supported much and I begin having some aching in my right shoulder side and thought -there’s no way I’ll will get through 12 weeks with this piece of foam.At midnight I woke up and thought ohhhh crsp I bought this thing in November.Got it out of my amazon stash drawer and put it on. Went to bed and only woke up once at 4:30 and that’s because the cat jumped up on the bed. Right back to sleep and got a full 9 hrs of sleep-this brace is the mist comfortable thing -NOW! I hated it in November because I refuse to face my biggest fear -having to wear one after surgery-however NOW I am going to buy a second one to have on hand when I wash this one. Way to comfortable - Dr’s should issue these instead of the cheap uncomfortable ones.I give this a 10 Star

The collar is best as a reminder to keep one's posture erect instead of slouching forward & leading w/ the chin. It's comfortable and adjustable, but it doesn't ease neck & shoulder pain as I'd hoped. Perhaps the product that includes heat w/the collar would ease spine issues; however, I returned the heated cushion from the same company that suggests bundling the two items. The heated pillow is hard & inflexible; it was too hard to position comfortably & didn't fully heat. While there's no quick fix for chronic neck & shoulder problems, I think this item is adequate for occasional wear after slouching over extended clerical tasks.

I've used this neck brace till I almost got addicted to it, which the doctors say that you must do. But that's how good it was for me. During my neck pain, it kept my neck steady and secure, preventing it from moving around and exacerbating my pain.
