These things really work. We repotted and split up a large Christmas Cactus from 1 pot to 3. The bag of soil was opened & had been in a wheelbarrow in the yard. Sadly it must have been full of these lil fungas gnats & all the sudden they seemed to be all over the area where the repotted plants were. These pictures are 24 hours after placement. I even hung one on a kitchen cabinet & it has caught a few. Very pleased. The lil bugs seemed to be drawn to the color Yellow because as I was placing them in the plants they were already lighting & getting stuck. ETgey are easy to use, you just peel off the paper to expose the sticky surface and they are very sticky, so be careful. I also purchased a small plug in bug light, a new brand called STEM. It has only caught 2 bugs & was only 2- 3 feet from the plants. I expected them to be drawn to it during the night but I guess not. So glad I went ahead & got these. I didn't count but if I had to guess probably over 100 in just 24 hours. I also soaked the soil with a mixture of peroxide & water which I read on the internet will kill the larva. Fingers crossed they will be gone in a week. I think I am about to place a whole bunch of these around the plants outdoors & see if I can reduce the population. I have a very effective outdoor bug killer the Dynatrap and it does capture tons of these lil gnats. Guess I need to spray the entire yard & all the plants with a peroxide/ water mixture. It was probably the rain this year that caused so many since they only like moist soil.

I love these. My son wanted to start a garden but it was too cold so we started it inside. His soil had gnats in it. Bought these to help with the gnat issue till we could move the plants outside and they worked great. I only thought we had a few gnats, but these caught several. It was actually kinda satisfying seeing how many were caught. They are made of thin plastic and are very sticky. They were easy to place in the dirt and had no issues with them falling over. The package even came with a cute tiny shovel to help you dig a spot for them to be inserted if you need it.

Works great I literally put them in and I woke up in the morning and got a bunch of gnats! I have two LED bug traps around the house as well, but can’t have them in every single outlet so these definitely help with those plants that are not super close to the wall outlets! I also recommend using a apple cider soap mixture. It draws them out of the plant and they end up getting stuck on these when near eachother. Using that in combination with the LED lights, I literally have almost wiped out my entire gnat problem problem.!

We bought these when we realized our 'fruit fly' problem was actually a 'fungus gnat' problem. Driving us crazy (all plants we re-potted in the spring, so think we got unlucky with the bag of soil. 😞) We got these and the gnats sure do love them! I'm replacing them every couple of days. We still have gnats, but less. Not sure it will 100% solve our problem but certainly helps! Catches big flies too!

I've been using these for weeks now in most of my indoor houseplants and they are working well at catching the adult fungus gnats. I'm also treating the soil with mosquito bits. These are easy to use and safe for my plants. I have accidentally gotten leaves stuck to them a few times and I've been able to gently peel them off without damage. They are definitely a good deal for the amount included, I have enough for years!Keep them away from pets and only use them indoors to ensure animals don't get stuck on them though, they're very sticky!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Price was very affordable! It caught ALL of the nasty garden gnats I have had flying for the past month or so now. I got these to manage fungus gnats in my house plants. They are extremely sticky and definitely catch fungus gnats when placed in pots because they crawl onto them. It's not a complete solution for this particular insect but they work as advertised and are very cheap.You do have to be careful when peeling off the paper because they will stick to anything and everything, not a flaw but something to be aware of.
