I'm complete begginer and this is very nice set to get you started. When you scan qr code it takes you to YouTube video guides. Start with penguin one as it is the best and explains everything very well. Note that lion video is with dimensions for smaller toy not the one in the booklet.

This is such a lovely gift idea for anyone wanting to learn to crochet, it comes in a nicely presented box and has everything inside needed for making the 8 little creatures. The wool included is soft and there's plenty to make the small animal heads, with keychains for hanging when finished. The instruction leaflet isn't fully comprehensive, but a video tutorial is available, also a pdf can be obtained by messaging the seller. The set comes with yarn, keychains, a tape measure, a double ended crochet hook, tapestry needles for finishing off, eyes, noses, fluff (kapok), stitch markers, a safety pin, scissors and instruction booklets.At £14.99 (with a 5% off voucher) at the time of writing this review, this is a really nice set to learn how to make amigurumi, and I would recommend it.

Instructions difficult to follow, balloon pops easily

The videos are quite hard to follow for a complete beginner, the yarn is extremely cheap so it frays and split easily and the quality of the hook is bad so it kept getting stuck

If you had to purchase all items individually it would end up costing quite a lot as yarn alone is not cheap.I've had several before and no doubt will purchase more in the future too. I love them.
