Marvel Universe Deadpool and Taskmaster Figure Comic Pack 4 Inches

It's definitely not worth the price I payed. The joints on the deadpool figure get loose pretty quickly. The all around figure quality is as rated. Just think about that before shell out an obscene amount of money for this.

Deadpool and Taskmaster, 2 of Marvel's most hilarious mercs, bundled into one pack. It's mega awesome, and the figures have some pretty good detail and articulation.Deadpool comes with 2 katanas, a knife, and 9mm pistol. His katanas are hard plastic, which is nice because it means they shouldn't be bent or bending. One of mine was slightly, but the real problem is with his pistol. It's soft plastic or rubber and bends like nobodies business, and the trigger hole tore when I tried to fit Deadpool's finger into it(Nothing about that last part sounded right...). Out of packing mine was bent, which is not a good look for a gun barrel...but of course if you or someone you know has a collection of GI Joes, this shouldn't be a big deal I wouldn't think. Always spare guns to be found! Plus people sell'em in bulk on eBay for pretty cheap. Anyway, Deadpool's awesome, goes great with my Cable, and I dig his pinky out like everyone else does.Taskmaster comes with his bow, shield, sword, and pistol. I didn't know if the sword would be removable until I saw a video review of them, but I'm very happy it is considering he impales Deadpool with it in the included comic! His only flaw I found was that I have no idea how you're supposed to have him hold his shield. I managed to get him to hold it, yeah, but how it's actually supposed to fit, I have no clue. But his mold is awesome, as are the paint decals on his skull face. Plus, his cape let's you put him in some cool positions since it'll prop him up.The last great pièce de résistance is one of my personal favorite issues of Cable and Deadpool, where Deadpool frees Taskmaster, and shenanigans ensue. It's a hilarious read, but if you don't already know this, probably not for kids. It's Deadpool and there's a reason his comics say "Parental Advisory" on the front. I know I read way worse when I was a kid, such as Spawn, but just as a disclaimer to any frightfully overprotective parents out there, this issue is full of awesome violence, crude hilarious humor, and sexual undertone. Deal with it B)In short, BUY THIS! BUY THIS NOW FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GREAT! BEFORE THEY JACK THE PRICES UP EVEN FURTHER!!!

I was lucky enough to snag this two pack at my local wal-mart before they sold out(which was in 1 day FYI)and definitely a great buy for a fan of either character. Deadpool is pretty much the same mold as the X-Men Origins wolverine version that came out a few years back however he does have a different deco. He still comes with the 2 swords which the sheathes alone blow away the previous versions gear however the figure itself seems to be made cheaper and the deco while good isn't as good as the origins figure by a long shot. Regardless you can never have to many deadpool figures so its a win.Taskmaster is one of my favorite marvel characters EVER and if it weren't for this set i doubt we would have ever gotten a figure of him in the marvel universe line. His body is pretty standard one of the cookie cutter ones hasbro uses for obscure characters instead of making their own mold. His gear is pretty cool he comes with a handgun a bow and quiver of arrows, sword and a shield(same as captain america's only taskmaster deco but has no shoulder straps like Cap's does(lame).The head is thankfully a good likeness despite the whited out eyes which look weird and he also has a cape that is kind of awkward white outside orange inside(also poorly painted). Despite the cosmetic imperfections its still a great looking figure and definitely a good likeness of Tasky.The figures are actually modeled on their appearances in the comic book that accompanies them which is a very good read for those who haven't read it yet. While not very story oriented its got plenty of action and humor that should appeal to any die hard deadpool fans out there.

The detail on both of these 2 figures is excellent. Taskmaster looks phenomenal with his accessories and Deadpool is amazing. Especially with his pinky up in his shooting hand.

My son will love this combination. He likes to read Marvel comics and while he is reading and later on, he is trying to play & pretend about what he read. Now when he has main characters in his hand he will be more than happy.Can't say I like the price though. It could go cheaper.
