Greenkey 10 Litre Traditional Galvanised Watering Can

Upon opening the box containing the watering can, I found that the watering rose had pulled away from the soldered screw thread, to save the bother of sending it all back I re-soldered it back on. The overall feel of the watering can is very flimsy and the handle over the top feels like its going to bend under the weight of a full can of water, other than the broken rose, the can does not leak like the version that I initially obtained from a large DIY chain, which leaked from the soldered joint of the spout to can joint. Having gone round most of the local Garden Centres these watering cans are nothing like the correct gauge of metal that the original (vintage) can were made of and am amazed that the more expensive £44 pound can dont even come with a rose included!However touch wood I have used it quite extensively so far and its still holding up and is a better deal that some of the cheaper versions, however if I can find a non leaking original with a rose this will end up with plants in it!.

Ignore any bad reviews about this watering can. It's not built like a tank, but it's fit for purpose. It's a watering can, so i'm not that fused about how it looks, but it does still look better than a plastic can. Been used everyday, since it arrived. Been left out side and it is working fine. For the price, it is a good buy. If you have money to burn and you have a show garden, then spend 3 times the amount on a can. If you want a watering can that works and looks better than a plastic one, buy this one.

Seems a decent quality watering can. Good size for our needs. Too early to say how long it will last as only purchased a few weeks ago. So far so good.

Having lived for too long with a yucky green plastic watering can with the customary lost rose, I finally got around to getting a proper watering can - and that's exactly what it is. Seems pretty durable, but that will only be proven after 5 or more years - nice screw on (see - proper!) rose and it looks good left out on the patio, which is a bonus because I'm too lazy to take it back to the shed, where there's no room anyway. Perfectly satisfied

Good old fashion watering can

This is one of the most satisfying product that I have bought ! Just what I wished for !!!

I used this watering can for the first time in a while, it has been sitting on my patio since February when I last used it in anger and had some residue water inside.Today I wanted to use the watering can to add some lawn feed to my rubbish lawn. Half way through filling the can I note that there was a leak from the bottom.On closer inspection I found some rust spots at the bottom which had developed into a hole around 3 mm across.I expect a galvanised product to resist rust and certainly not erode through after 8 months with very infrequent use.I went down the route of buying a metal can as I'm a bit of a traditionalist but sadly I'll be going over to plastic.What a waste of money
